If shampoo was a car wash service (bear with us here), this would be the equivalent of a full valet. A once-a-week treatment, its gentle formula boasts apple cider vinegar to help cut through product build-up and neutralise shine-compromising hard water deposits while hydrolysed keratin works to support brittle or heat-weakened tresses. Expect to be left with locks that feels soft, silky and ready for action. Plus, it's infused with the brand's signature Melrose Place fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk... it's the perfect final flourish.

Thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip with lukewarm water. Squeeze out any excess moisture and lather a coin-sized dollop of Detox Shampoo in your palms. Use your fingers to part the hair and apply the product as close to the scalp as possible. Let it work its magic for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

If you have greasy roots, build up of product, sun cream, working out and sweaty this is a great shampoo to clarify your hair and make it feel super clean without leaving it dry or squeaky. It’s a super refreshing scent. I like to use this once a week to remove product buildup or after a particularly sweaty spin session! I use alongside the ouai medium shampoo and conditioner

Holy grail
The best shampoo I’ve ever used! I have very unpredictable, curly hair. I have between type 3a-3b curls and this shampoo keeps my hair feeling fresh and frizz free. Only need a little bit to lather on the hands and works wonders. The bottle has lasted me for months. This will always be my go to. Thank you OUAI🙏🏼

Fine curly haired love
I love the smell of this! I was nervous about using a detox shampoo but this left my hair feeling nicely cleansed and not at all stripped. My hair is SUPER fussy and I have a stash of hair products that could stock a shop... but this love affair with Ouai started with a sample, it's so lovely when that actually works out! I snagged this as part of the 'better together' bundle (I was sceptical...see the point about fussy hair!) I have fine hair that seems to be disappearing at a rather uncomfortable rate, which is type 3A curly. I apply a few styling products to my hair and thought maybe a regular detox would be a good idea. I also suffer from a fussy scalp too and products can break me out often, especially fragranced ones! but having officially fallen down the Ouai rabbit hole I thought I'd give this a shot. I am in love! It smells so pretty and feminine and considering it's a shampoo, it actually feels nice to use and hasn't broken me out. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes over time, but for the moment, I am so happy! Thank you Ouai x

Good clarifying shampoo
I haven’t used many clarifying shampoos but this one definitely works. I use a lot of dry shampoo so this is quite good for when my hair is quite dirty. Only downside is it can be quite drying so I wouldn’t use it more than once a fortnight.
