If shampoo was a car wash service (bear with us here), this would be the equivalent of a full valet. A once-a-week treatment, its gentle formula boasts apple cider vinegar to help cut through product build-up and neutralise shine-compromising hard water deposits while hydrolysed keratin works to support brittle or heat-weakened tresses. Expect to be left with locks that feels soft, silky and ready for action. Plus, it's infused with the brand's signature Melrose Place fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk... it's the perfect final flourish.

Thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip with lukewarm water. Squeeze out any excess moisture and lather a coin-sized dollop of Detox Shampoo in your palms. Use your fingers to part the hair and apply the product as close to the scalp as possible. Let it work its magic for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Gentle clarifying shampoo
Have used the olaplex clarifying shampoo before and compared to that it feels a lot more gentle and less stripping. Smells amazing and works great for using before bond builders and for removing build up if you use a lot of products.

I bought this shampoo as my hair had been thinning and I heard it was really effective at hair repair. It smells lovely and makes your hair feel nice. However, quite quickly I started getting really sore spots around my hairline, back of my neck and top of my back. My scalp was also so itchy and I had increased dandruff. I did not think too much about it. I appreciated it was likely from the shampoo / conditioner but I carried on, as I am very sensitive to things anyway. I have just been on holiday and took the shampoo / conditioner with me in little travel pots. My boyfriend used it too to save bringing his own. Within days he had sore spots on his scalp and I knew it had to be the shampoo. Sadly I will have to stop using it. I don’t think it is bad, I just want to make sure those with sensitive skin/scalps are aware.

Amazing Shampoo
So this is my third bottle (plus a travel one I purchased in Florida) it’s amazing. I always double shampoo and as a first shampoo it’s brilliant. It cleanses your hair without stripping it dry. It’s really good on my scalp. Fully recommend, I know it’s expensive but it’s worth it.
