Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Not what I was expecting
I got this primer because I had wanted it for ages, however, after following what it says to do my foundation was not sticking to my nose at all, and my chin was also slightly patchy. I heard such great things about how it keeps your makeup in place all day, so I am determined to keep trying until I get it to work right.

Awful awful awful
Used it with my fail-safe foundation and it caused it not to dry. My eye watered the tiniest bit and it took the foundation off in chunks, looked absolutely awful would not recommend to anyone, doesn’t grip at all causes my foundation to slip around and literally slide off my face. Wore on a night out and ruined my night as couldn’t even touch it up without it piling and making it worse!

Amazing Product - Believe the Hype
I have very dry skin and sometimes suffer with eczema / sensitive skin on my face. I think I came across this product when Robert Welsh recommended it several times on his YouTube channel. It was out of stock for ages so when it returned to Cult Beauty I decided to buy the larger size despite never trying it.... I'm so glad I did! This is now a holy grail product of mine. I use 2 pumps for my face and my foundation sits lovely when applied. Some people suggest patting it in but I have had no issues with gently spreading it. On average I wear my foundation for 10 hours and since using this primer it hasn't cracked, flaked or rubbed away. It has a sticky texture and pleasent smell. I will definitly repurchase

Really wanted to love this primer...
I’ve been trying to get hold of this primer for so long and finally got my hands on it! It feels nice to apply but sets quite quickly so I feel like you need to use a lot and not sure how long it’s going to last. Used this for the last week with CT flawless filter over the top for WFH but I’ve never looked so oily by 12pm and I can see lines that I’ve never even seen before (I’m 27!) I have oily/acne skin so wasn’t expecting wonders but this doesn’t seem any better than a £5 primer that I’ve got from boots! I want to love it and heard that even without makeup it reduces redness so going to give a more bare-faced look a go next week! Might be good for really heavy makeup and setting.

Best primer ever!
I have been searching for the best primer for combination skin. At first, I was hesitant that the primer would be too oily or sticky and would not control any oils. However, it has been amazing! It leaves a great smooth texture on the skin that foundation and base products grip onto all day! I also read the reviews saying that the product balls up, I did not find that this was the case. I simply put on a small amount and do not excessively rub it in, I tap it into the skin. I have used a lot of primers such as Fenty/YSL/Channel and this is the best yet!

Nice product
I like this primer texture-wise but for me, I don’t think it has the best-staying power but makeup does apply really nicely over it
