Use after skin care, before applying any other make up. Dot a small amount to any areas of pigmentation and gently blend. Follow with foundation, concealer and any other products to create your look. Is it worth the hype?- not sure but I if like me you do not look for full coverage it might be a winner. I understand the buzz around the product, the cherry hue is quite brightening. and at 46 any concealer looks crapey mess on me, so have to stick to lighter correctors, this one is moisturising, brightening and doesn't crease like crazy, so thumbs up from me. A tad more coverage and it would be a full house!
