Am I missing something?
Honestly, I don’t get the hype.. maybe I’m using it incorrectly? I don’t see much difference and with an expensive price tag, I won’t be rebuying, my fave looks no different after I use it!

It's what dreams are made of!
I already had this powder in shade diffused light and after a while I decided to splurge on dim light. I'm so glad I did. I use diffused light under my eyes and in the center on my face and dim light on the rest of it. I couldn't recommend this product more, it gives such a healthy glow.

Mood Light is the best of them!
My review comes about 2 years after purchase, so I think it counts :) I bought the palette first and liked it, but there was something more I needed and Mood Light gave it to me. It is not that deep as in the pictures here. Very soft, lightens up tired skin. If applied lightly it can be put all over, but I use it mainly on high points of the face and layer it up to make it work as a soft blush. No glitter, girls, just luminousity!

Luminous light
Makes my skin look flawless and glowy without being super sparkly. I’m quite fair so luminous light has been great for adding just a little warmth during the winter months without need for a huge amount of blending. Will definitely investigate getting another shade when the sun starts coming out!

Ethereal Light
I waited a while before taking the plunge as it's so expensive, and with my 42 yr old combination skin some powders can make me either extra dry or extra oily. I'm not disappointed. This powder performs very well, it does look like a moonlit glow, and it evens out my skin tone a bit. I'm already light skinned but not the palest. I'm not sure it would work on darker skin tones. It's very comfortable to wear and did not cause breakouts or oiliness. My only issue with it is that it definitely contains tiny sparkles - I wasn't expecting this. After double cleansing I still see sparkles on my face that didn't come off. For this reason I've tended to use another powder more frequently instead. It just doesn't need those sparkles, and I suppose for this reason is better for evening use than daytime.

Dim light
I have fair skin and use dim light as a bronzer. Looks very natural, perfect for everyday makeup.

Beautiful
This powder is gorgeous!! I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought it would be glittery or shiny but it just makes your skin look so luminous. I thought I would end up using it as a highlighter but I use it under my eyes and it gives a beautiful soft glow. I like my makeup to look more natural and this is perfect for making foundation and concealer look more 'skin-like'. It also looks amazing in pictures. Not sure if I will repurchase because it's a bit pricey but it's going to last me ages anyway!

Luminous Ambient Lighting Powder
I haven’t used this as a face powder yet, but I do use it as a highlighter, and it’s wonderful. It’s more subtle than the Strobe Lighting Powder, which makes it perfect for daytime, everyday highlighter. This is the powder I would recommend for anyone who is looking for something subtle, or who is just beginning to use a highlighter or might be a bit anxious about applying it. It goes in like a dream and can be blended so easily with either fingers or a big soft brush. I use a brush to buff bronzer, blusher and highlighter together, and I just glow. Hourglass powders are perfect for me, and although I have only recently discovered them, I already know they are the ones I will always use.

Dim Light
A most beautiful powder. All the products I’ve tried from Hourglass, less is most definitely more. A slight sweep of this powder gives the most amazing soft glow. You need so little of it that it will last forever. I use a big soft powder brush to apply it and it gives the most amazing understated glow. This is most definitely an absolutely must-have in my makeup arsenal. I wish I’d discovered it years ago!
