I sat on this for a while before buying. The Hourglass loose powder is in my second favourite after Suqqu’s Oil Rich loose powder so I should have known it would be good. Ran out of my favourite Pat McGrath pressed powder for underyes. While I think I still prefer PMG, the overall versatility of this and ease of carrying brings it almost at par with PMG. If you’re deciding between the two, Pat McGrath is slightly easier to dust on eyes as it’s very fine but also very easy to get out of the pan (and therefore gets dusty). This is very clean, very buttery. I find it’s better to use a dense brush, but my OCD nature feels at peace with how clean it is. I wish they’d come out with the same but glowier (I mean they have the Ambient powders but a sponge pressed for setting would be nice)

This is a pricey item but when I came to the end of my Charlotte Tilbury powder( which is very good) I bought this after reading very positive reviews. It does not disappoint. It is incredibly fine but does a wonderful job. I have quite visible pores on my chin but this does not sit in them at all, whilst eliminating excess shine. Absolutely recommend
