I think it's a win

I like the light smell and the fact that my maskne hasn't reappeared. I've been using it daily for a month now, it's a tad sticky but it is absorbed quickly. Also, my skin looks nice and smooth. I can't vouch for the duration of the dewy effect but you do get something of a sheen where you apply it.

Overhyped

I ordered this along with the Glow Recipe toner, unfortunately, I was sucked into to tik tok trends. While loving the toner, unfortunately, this didn’t add anything to my skincare routine and I wasn’t too keen on the sticky consistency of it. Smelt nice but didn’t notice a difference in my skin and I don’t think it’s necessary for my routine. Last time I’ll be influenced!

Believe the hype!

I was sceptical, as in the past I haven't had much luck with Niacinamide products. James Welsh raved about this stuff constantly on his YouTube channel, so I decided to take the plunge and see whether the Glow Recipe stuff was worth the hype. Honestly, when it arrived, I freaked out a little at the size of the bottle, but as you only really need one pump of the stuff to easily cover your full face and neck, it actually goes a very long way. This is the first niacinamide that has ever given me results, and it's going to be a staple in my skincare routine from now on! My skin tone has evened and brightened since using this, and I get far less breakouts (the exception being the ever present face mask breakouts). It really does give a lovely glow when applied, which lasts for some time afterwards. I haven't tried it over makeup as a highlighter, as I feel like it probably defeats the point a little. I know a lot of people find the smell artificial and unpleasant, but personally I feel like the watermelon scent is fresh and not overpowering, it doesn't smell too sweet or chemical to me and in any case it dissipates quickly after application. If you're unsure of whether to take the leap, I'd say Glow Recipe is totally worth the hype, and this product in particular is a miracle in a bottle. The packaging feels pretty luxury too, and it's really cute to look at. I think I'll be keeping my empties and trying to work out if I can repurpose them!

Lovely product

I’d been desperate to try glow recipe products so ordered a few, wanting to dislike them really because they are so expensive, but I love it. Makes my skin so dewy, easily buildable with other products unlike another nicinimide I have. Just down 1 star because it is so pricey - a little goes a long way though, I only use 1 pump and it’s more than enough :)

I love this! I was sceptical, but now it is a final step before sunscreen every day. You get glass skin

Smells great but a little over hyped

I’m a bit mixed about this product. While I think it smells amazing and really makes my skin feel soft and dewy, I don’t notice an overall difference in my skin. It’s nice to use without makeup and I like most glow recipe products a lot goes a long way.

I do not think it is worth the hype. It is not bad, I admit, it does what it promises, gives the skin some glow, but there are cheaper products with much better results. Just wanted to give it a try, definitely not going to repurchase it.

Nice, but a bit sticky

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Like all Glow Recipe products, I feel like they just do not work for my skin. I have really oily skin and the products I have tried so far just feel heavy and sticky all day long. I do like the concept of this product and it does deliver - it gives you a nice 'glow from within' type of look, but the stickiness is just a bit much for me.

Not worth the hype

I like a dewy look so gave this a try. The texture is not the nicest, feels goey-sticky, although it does dry down after a while. If I wear it with sunscreen I feel it is too much on my skin, but since it doesn't have SPF I can't wear it on its own. If I am wearing makeup I just prefer a highlighter, also I am not sure what use this is to my skin on top of all the makeup, which is how they suggest you apply. The glow is more of an oily-sticky look rather than a 'glow from within. Sunday Riley's CEO Glow gives me a much better result, I put that on under makeup, the effect is not as shiny as this one but gives a more natural look. This product is overhyped, I regret buying it.
