Apply to dry hair. Load up the small end of the brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out (do not use sweeping motion). Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use the side edge of the small brush.

my second purchase
I've used this product for years. It covers grey roots. Most effective during the 40th to 65th days when the grey roots are not yet too long. After that it becomes harder to hide grey roots with this product. I also find that the first day after shampoo when roots are less greasy, the use of this product is better. One does require to shampoo the next day after use as it makes the roots more greasy. Still a good product to avoid too regular dying.
