Suited to all hair types - from thick curls through to finer, straight strands - the Tress Press Digital Styling Iron, 1 Inch uses sleek design and innovative technology to style your mane quickly, easily and without causing long-lasting damage.
The 1 inch floating plates provide constant contact with your hair so you can straighten in one single pass down the hair shaft, protecting against breakage or excessive heat damage unnecessarily. Infrared technology supports this, by heating hair from the inside out for more efficient styling, and titanium technology seals the cuticle for less frizz and tons of shine. If you're looking for more of a textured, tousled or curled look, you'll love the rounded edges, which allow you to wrap your tresses around the barrel to creating waves without any 'hard edges'. Finally digital temperature control allows for custom styling on all hair types, with heat up to 232°C.
Work in 2" (5 cm) cleanly parted, brushed sections.
To Straighten: Hold iron horizontally. Clamp hair at the root and slowly pull through to the ends, slightly beveling toward the face to prevent static.
To Curl: Hold iron vertically. Clamp hair midway through the section, then twist the iron away from your face 180 degrees and pull forward through to the ends. The more slowly you pull, the greater the curl. For waves, pull through more quickly.
Features universal voltage for overseas travel without a converter. Features a professional length 9 ft (2.74 m) cord.

Not the quality expected
The straighteners are fine, I like the digital temperature display and they heat up quickly. However I could never recommend these as the yellow coating began melting and flaking off on the second use and has just continued. I’ve used these a total of around 8 times and they look about 10 years old. Pretty disappointing for the price point, I don’t think they’ll last more than a year.
