Everything you need to know about Beauty Backed

The impact of Covid-19 has been unprecedentedly hard on the beauty industry over the last two years, which is why Cult Beauty is donating £40,000 from sales of our {Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2021} to {Beauty Backed Trust}.

Beauty Backed

Initially created in response to the impact the Covid-19 pandemic had on the beauty sector – which in 2018, contributed £27.2 billion to the UK economy through consumer spending alone, as well as supporting almost 600,000 jobs according to a report commissioned by the British Beauty Council – but struggled to stay open and viable, Beauty Backed originally raised £600,000 for the industry but quickly evolved into a Trust which aims to assist everyone and anyone who works, or who wants to work, in the beauty industry.

It is the goal of Beauty Backed founder, Caroline Hirons, and Trustees (think: Alex Forbes, Dija Ayodele, Lesley Blair and Lisa Potter-Dixon) to put this invaluable industry front and centre while providing a means to support everyone in the beauty industry. Providing a means of support to beauty professionals through grants, mentorships, and masterclasses, helping elevate and evolve the industry post-pandemic and beyond.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Cult Beauty for their continued support of the Beauty Backed Trust and the work we do. This generous donation will be a tremendous help to our Grant Programme, helping those in our industry most affected by COVID-19.” Beauty Backed Trustees
