Huda Kattan’s 7 favourite beauty products

Beauty connoisseur and global social media sensation, Huda Kattan has 15 million {Instagram} followers (and counting). Make up maven, industry influencer and brand founder, Huda is as affable as she’s successful – which is why she’s every cosmetic obsessive’s online beauty best friend. Turns out, our ‘girl crush’ is reciprocal; Huda is a long-time fan of Cult Beauty and we could not be more excited that she’s chosen us to bring you her first ever {beauty box}, brimming with a cherry-picked selection of {skin care} and {make up} lust-haves.

Want to know why Huda chose these all-star products, and where they fit within her beauty ritual? Here’s Huda to talk you through her steps to looking flawless and ensuring that she’s ever selfie-ready…

“Hi Cult Beauties!

I was beyond excited to select some of my favourites, just for you! You’ll find my latest obsessions in skin care alongside my make up essentials and, of course, a set of my personally hand-designed eyelashes. I hope you love the line-up just as much as I do!

Sunday Riley {Ceramic Slip Cleanser}

“As I’m forever experimenting with my make up, I need a heavy-duty cleanser that dissolves every last trace of base without stripping my skin. I’m totally OBSESSED with Sunday Riley and this mild, gently-foaming formula works wonders. Starring French green clay, it’s like a magnet – drawing all the dirt that gets embedded within pores (perfect for taking the ‘day’ off) – while the fresh, gel-milk texture refreshes and helps to zap zits. Ideal for normal to oil-prone complexions, this makes a great first step in every skin care ritual.”

Tata Harper {Resurfacing Mask} (half size)

“I’m a self-confessed mask addict (as anyone who follows me will know). From whipping up recipes in my kitchen, to testing the latest sheet masks… I’m obsessed. Tata Harper’s peach gel-balm is my trusted go-to; it refines my skin’s texture so it’s prepped for the most flawless make up look. I love to use this ahead of a big event – it exfoliates without leaving skin looking red or in the least bit irritated – calming any blemishes and counteracting dullness so my face feels super-soft and plumped with a next-level ‘glow’. It’s the ultimate pick-me-up (every skin care collection needs this).”

Yu Ling Rollers {Jade Eye Roller (small)}

“How adorable is this? I’m a sucker for anything ‘mini’ – especially when it looks cute and works miracles. Made from hand-carved jade, this little roller is essentially a ‘work out’ for your facial muscles – think: taking your skin to the gym. If you suffer from under-eye bags or dark circles, this helps to dispel any toxins and enhance the circulation to reduce puffiness and leave eyes looking wonderfully rested. I love to keep mine in the fridge for a relaxing cool down at the end of a long, craaazy day.”

iBeauty {Skin Brush 21}

“From the beauty industry’s capital of innovation, South Korea, ‘toothbrush’ brushes like iBeauty’s {Skin Brush} are my most recent addiction. The secret to a flawless, airbrushed finish, this ultra-soft brush blends base, blush and contour beautifully – effortlessly camouflaging any imperfections for an enviable, ‘real skin’ look that’s convincing – even in close up. With densely-packed synthetic bristles and an angled handle that’s easy to use, it is the perfect shape for blurring any ‘edges’ to achieve a naturally beautiful effect – no Face Tune needed!”

Kevyn Aucoin {The Sculpting Powder – Medium}

“I’m a big believer in the power of contouring. It makes a subtle but noticeable difference to the way my features look – especially on camera! I love to sculpt my nose and cheekbones when I’m filming – emphasising hollows to prevent my face from looking ‘flat’ under the glare of lights – and this powder is literally perfection. With a neutral grey-beige tone that mimics shadows without looking ashy, this applies and blends so seamlessly. Honestly, it may seem daunting but with just a little bit of practice you’ll quickly become addicted to its face-changing abilities.”

Morphe Brushes {The Blushed Blush Palette (9B)}

“I had to include one of Morphe’s delicious palettes in my box of faves. Blusher is so often overlooked but is the most effective way to ‘perk up’ tired, washed-out faces – and it takes two seconds to apply. This perfect palette features nine buttery pinks, peaches and natural flush tones to mimic that pinched-your-cheeks prettiness. I use a fluffy brush to dust colour lightly on the apples of my cheeks – diffusing for a fresh and youthful ‘lit from within’ look.”

Huda Beauty {Samantha #7}

“Having struggled for years to find foolproof false eyelashes, I realised that I had to make my own. These have an ultra-fine flexible band and layered lashes of varying lengths, making them ultra-versatile and one of my bestsellers. The ones I reach for when I don’t know which to reach for, you can’t go wrong with this suits-anyone style. They’re flirty, feminine and ideal for instantly elevating any tried-and-tested beauty look to breathtaking new heights.”

…so there you have it! I’d love see how you get on with all the products, so please share snaps of your {The Cult Beauty Box by Huda Kattan}, or selfies of your final looks on {Instagram}, using #HudaxCultBeauty and tagging @cultbeauty!

Enjoy! Love, Huda xx
