Ils ont raison les Francais! The top-selling weekend supplement Madame Figaro has featured Cult Beauty in a piece about cool beauty found in London, Beautyblender and Golden Emu Oil were their stand out products from the site. As well as a lovely piece on Linda Pilkington, founder of Ormonde Jayne. Madame Figaro is a credit to French journalism and society in general, focusing on much more intellectual themes and subjects than 'femail-focused' titles over here (Kerry Kantona's latest breakdown anyone??). They profile and celebrate women made famous through achievements in the sciences and politics as well as acting and modeling and don't flinch at putting a 40/50/60 year old on the cover without it being a themed 'age' issue. The Achilles heel, where is it? might ask...fat. Women are allowed to be anything and everything, except generously proportioned in Figaro's world. alexia inge
