The colour was disappointing 😞
I love Westman Atelier products, own quite a few, including 4 of the lipsticks. I love this formula, the packaging, and was very excited to see Westman coming with a Petal shade in the lipstick formula, which is my favourite blush shade. Unfortunately the lipstick on me reads more nude peach than a pink, I was quite disappointed. It doesn't look at all like the Petal blush and I don't like it and cannot return it. Expensive mistake. Next time I should swatch it in store before making a purchase online, my bad.

I have had drugstore lipsticks that perform like this. For almost 50quid I was expecting to be blown away. Underwhelming and the scent of chocolate makes it seem cheap. Not impressed.

Lovely color options! I’ve ordered Minx which works quite well for an olive skin tone. Very smooth and comfortable application. Color payoff is good but it definitely needs to be reapplied throughout the day. Just note that it does require a bit of lip balm to be applied first if you have dry lips because it’s not particularly moisturizing.

Such a luxury lipstick. The colour and texture are amazing and it is the only lipstick I have ever worn that truly stays put. At the end of the day there is still a trace of colour which I like. It is also non drying and the casing is brilliant. I will definitely buy this in another shade.

I've been wanting one of these for a long time but wasn't sure of the colours as most lipsticks come out much darker on me. When Petal came out I figured this is going to sell out quick so I didn't give myself any time to think about it as I have the blush and had an idea it might suit me. Honestly it runs a little peachy on me but I'm not mad about it. It's velvety matte, and glides on like butter but isn't transfer proof (doesn't claim to be though). Love the luxurious WA packaging. I will probably use this most days so very happy!

Beautiful Lipstick
This is a really beautiful lipstick in really beautiful packaging. I got the shade Rue which is a beautiful desaturated brown shade. It’s not that deep on me me (I have light skin but high contrast features and dark hair) but on someone fairer it might be vampy. On deep skin might be more nude but obviously lip colours can look very different on different people. I love how desaturated and nuanced the colour is without being too ashy. It’s a nice Demi matte formula which performs comparably to other good quality matte lipsticks, not too drying. The packaging is perfect with a magnetic closure and fits with the aesthetic of the brand. An expensive product but just what I was hoping for.
