The OG primer
I’ve been using this primer for years and have never been disappointed. My eyelids get super greasy throughout the day and this product allows my brown smokey eye to stay all day, without creasing or smudging - even after a day commuting and a trip to the gym. The consistency isn’t too thick. Just wish the packaging was better, there’s always a lot of product still left inside that’s hard to reach towards the end.

I used to be eye primer neutral because I felt they all did the same thing. As I get older and my lids become more hooded, I actually need a primer that is going to prevent creasing and keep my shadows in the place they’re supposed to be. I’ve tried LOADS and this one actually works! It looks a bit dry on initial application, especially if you use too much, but my eyeshadow doesn’t crease and the longevity is actually noticeably extended. I sometimes even use this on my nose if I’m feeling particularly oily or know I’m going to be sweating, because it locks my concealer in place. Banger!

It’s a decent eyeshadow primer and it does work, but I personally don’t reach for it. I’m not a big fan of the feeling of applying eyeshadow on top, it feels like the eyeshadow isn’t gliding over it smoothly and it sort of drags. But once it is on, it lasts well and doesn’t crease. It’s actually quite good for under the eye to smooth out fine lines and prep the skin for concealer.
