Nice texture, but my skin hated it

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I really wanted to move this product, I'd heard so many good things about Ultra Violette. My skin felt prickly on application, but after a few days use it was clear that something was causing severe irritation. I had to do using it.

Makes my skin BETTER

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve heard that tinted mineral sunscreens are good for acne prone skin… and after using this for 2 months, I’m a believer! Great under makeup, feels weightless. Already repurchased.

Best mineral spf

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I am a spf junkie and always on the hunt of a good mineral one. This one hits different in a good way. It’s so lightweight, airy, not leaving a white cast. A very cosmetically elegant sunscreen.

Another UV hit

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve got and use a few of the ultra violette spfs but as a skincare hi kie, I’m always keen to try the latest ones and know my skin usually appreciates mineral based spf that are zinc based. I initially wasn’t sure on this one as felt is made my skin slightly pinkish on applying but persevered and any initial flush definitely subsides and gives a lovely finish and glow.

This is TINTED and leaves marks on everything

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I had no idea from the description or photos that this was tinted, I have used other suncreams with a similar colour that do not tint your skin. Very disappointing. Would be completely inappropriate for anyone with a darker completion! The tint rubs off on EVERTHING. I applied it to my arms while dressed and got colour all over my clothes. I applied it to my face and chest while naked and waited 10 minutes, the colour rubbed off on my clothes. It also dulls my tattoos and collects in the crook of my elbow, I HATE it. After a while the tint can be rubbed off and pills on the skin. I dont know if this is just the tint or the SPF coming off! If i wanted a tinted moisturiser I would have bought one, this should be described accurately. On the plus side it does appear to be a very effective sunscreen.

Not what I expected

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This has a great texture and applies well into my skin. Hasn’t caused spots like other SPF products. Only downside is that it does leave my skin looking greasy for the first few hours. If I could send it back I would!

New favourite SPF!!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Wearing an SPF everyday means I need one that sits well under make up but also leaves my skin looking nice with nothing on!! This does exactly that as it has a blurring effect on my skin and leaves it looking super glowy and radiant. Definitely my new favourite SPF.
