Helped with dandruff
Good for shampoo to help clean dandruff and scalp. Need to use a lot of product to get it to lather up properly though.

What a surprise!
It’s a bit of a learning curve to get used to as it doesn’t foam, but I’m halfway through the bottle and my scalp dermatitis is GONE. No sebum, no flakes, no soreness or itching. A little drying on lengths but conditioner fixes that. Hair looks clean, volumised, soft and shiny and my natural wavy texture looks great. Will be repurchasing.

I use a lot of products for The Ordinary and I absolutely love them, but this just isn't one of them. It doesn't foam at all, and it left my curly hair feeling dry and impossible to style. I used the rest of it up as a body shampoo, but it wasn't much better that way either.

I may be conditioned (pun not intended) to expect lots of suds when shampooing but I felt in addition to being non-foaming this item, for me, was non cleaning and my hair still felt in need of a second wash which would get through this shampoo pretty quickly if I did this with every hair wash. I think this is well suited for those needing a non fragranced item but for me it is just a bit too joyless.

Always double shampoo!
I love this shampoo! Been using it for a while now, and my hair and scalp feels so clean and refreshed. Had been suffering with dry itchy scalp, and this helped to clear away dead skin ready for a hydrating product. I always ALWAYS recommend shampooing twice, especially with this shampoo. Some reviews say it doesn’t foam, but this only happens on the first shampoo because it’s getting the oils out of your hair, the second shampoo you won’t need much product and it’ll foam very nicely.

I was quite excited to buy this shampoo, as I enjoy many of 'The Ordinary' products. I have thick long hair with natural colour, so I like to use different scrubs or deep cleansing shampoos every other wash. Unfortunately, it took a massive amount of product to just cover my scalp, there is little to no foaming and it was quite a poor product to work with, feeling almost dry, which is strange. Once rinsed and left to dry naturally, my hair was very dry and left feeling stripped. I couldn't in good conscious, recommend this product. The only circumstances I can think it would be useful, is if you're hair is very greasy or you have extreme built up. Use it as a second wash, then proceed with a third wash and conditioner with a different brand. Too much bother to be worth it. P
