Skin care doesn't have to be confusing. The INKEY List is on a mission to debunk beauty jargon and put the power of knowledge in your hands. Its straight-talking range includes all the industry's best-loved heroes (from retinol to hyaluronic acid) in no-frills formulations that deliver incredible results. A case in point? The Retinol Serum (30ml), a nighttime treatment that works to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles and uneven texture.
Looking for a skin care reset while you sleep? Cue The INKEY List's Retinol Serum (10ml).
A derivative of vitamin A, retinol refreshes your complexion. Calling on two different forms of this hard-working ingredient, this concoction unites 1% retinyl acetate to gently resurface skin while a 0.5% granactive retinoid leaves your skin feeling plumper. Plus, its slow-release formula minimises sensitivity while still minimising fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and blemishes. That's not all; it's also infused with squalane to intensely hydrate your visage and protect your delicate moisture barrier. The results? A complexion that looks brighter, smoother and firmer.

Only use Retinol Serum in your PM skin care routine. After cleansing and hydrating, apply a pea-sized amount of Retinol Serum and massage into to the face and neck. Follow with preferred moisturiser. Start off using it 1-2 times per week and increase gradually if your skin can tolerate more frequent use.

Best on the market
I have a second one, it was my first retinol, but the % is really high, so be careful if you have very sensitive skin, I really like this one alone or with niacinamid, I see result after night - with blemish but with wrinkles it is for 3-4 months after that period you can see some changes.

No difference
I've been using this one for a bit more than 3 months now. It's my first retinol so I was a little bit scared that 1% may be too much for my skin at the beginning. I was wrong. This serum does literally nothing to my skin. I read that sometimes retinol serums dehydrate or cause 'peeling' effect, but nothing like hat happened. My skin does not look better either. At least nothing bad happened.

Works well for me
Combo skin here who has always struggled with texture, and a few breakouts. Wanted a new serum that could reduce the bumps on my forehead and after 2 months of consistent use, my skin is the best it’s ever been, so smooth!! I know this is supposed to be formulated for anti-wrinkles, but if you’re new to retinol with a similar skin type to me and looking for something gentle to tackle minor skin texture this will be your baby! Also didn’t experience any irritation whatsoever. Highly recommend.

Best thing I’ve ever bought!
It didn’t take long to see results from this product! I’m young, don’t have many wrinkles but this got rid of all my fine lines. Never believed in anti-aging creams until now.

Worst retinol ever
It does nothing for my skin (except draining all the moisture). I've tried different retinol-based serums after my fav emulsion granactive retinoid went out of stock, and this one is the worst so far.

Amazing!!
Can't praise it enough. I have sensitive, breakout prone, combination skin and this didn't irritate my skin at all (and its my first time using a retinol). I use the P.C. BHA and this did more of a difference in controlling my acne than that. Love the product and the brand overall, and I will purchase again.

Ok
The product is a nice consistency and feels nice on skin. However, it does nothing except when I wake up my skin is extremely oily (more than normal) and too much comes out.

Perfect
Was a bit apprehensive about starting a retinol, because my skin is ridiculously sensitive, but this hasn’t irritated my skin at all. Starting out only 2 or 3 nights a week and building up has worked fine and I’m glad I’ve been able to incorporate this step into my routine. Highly recommend.
