An Honest Review

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Problems: Dark under eyes The box that it comes in is very wasteful, to be honest. They give you a rectangular box for a long/skinny product. No manual or anything so a bunch of empty space for no reason. There seems to be a recurring issue with The Inkey List Products where the packaging does not quite allow you to control how much product comes out. The first time I used this cream, I tried squeezing it just below my eye and the cream shot right into my eye instead so be careful when you squeeze the tube. I always end up squeezing out more product than I want to no matter how careful I am being. The product also has a lot of air in it but what can you expect from the price I guess haha. It does not feel amazing on tired eyes. In fact, it feels like I shouldn't even be putting it on my eyes by the way it smells. It's a sharp smell while also smelling sort of starchy. The applicator is cooling and feels nice but really does nothing special. It's cold and all it does is spread the cream around your skin. You still have to pat it in with your fingers for the cream to absorb. Something people don't think about when they think of cooling applicator is that the applicator is made out of metal. If you rub it on your skin long enough, it is no longer cooling. I will be honest and say I've only used this product for two days (applied 4 times--am and pm) but if my mind changes about it I will come and edit or write another review.

Great for tired eyes!

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been using this eye cream in the morning for the last couple of weeks. I really like the texture of this as it is super lightweight and is great underneath makeup. I have also really enjoyed using the applicator to apply the eye cream as it feels amazing on tired eyes! This product has helped with puffiness; however, I can't say it has improved dark circles as of yet. If you like a lightweight texture I would recommend this, however, if you prefer a richer texture/ have very dry under eyes this probably isn’t the eye cream for you.

It's ok..

Love their Caffeine Cream so thought this was going to be even better. Loads comes out at the tiniest squeeze so be careful. I can't see any mega benefits, nor any brightening, but perhaps it's too soon to tell. All in all, a bit underwhelmed. I'll persevere and report back if I find any other results!

Странная текстура

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Очень странная текстура - очень жидкая. И у крема странный аромат, какой-то технический. Был крем с кофеином от этой же марки и понравился гораздо больше. Very strange texture - very liquid. And the cream has a strange aroma, some kind of technical. There was a caffeinated cream from the same brand and liked much more.

The worst applicator design but good inside

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

The applicator nozzle often squirts too much to surprise me when I use it . It really needs a lot of attention and skill to press it and this makes a bit trouble to me when I rush to work in the morning. Good inside but bad outside.

Surprisingly powerful

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

A combination of my job and a general addiction to all things beauty means that I try a lot of eye creams- often with mixed results. As the owner of some naturally pretty puffy and dry under eyes my preference tends to be alternating between a caffeine based/depuffing product in the morning, and something more nourishing at night. For me this eye cream falls somewhere between the two- with a fairly impressive brightening action as well as enough moisture that I can use this day and night. The strength of this does take some time to build up to though, and I found I needed to use it on alternate days initially. And on days where my skin is more sensitive I tend to skip this entirely and opt for something slightly gentler.
