These are quite pricy for a body spray, I’ll give you that. However, they are stunning. I have three scents and this one is similar to a popular YSL perfume, opium. But they feel like quite a highly concentrated scent that last, it doesn’t feel watered down. It has staying power. All of them do.

Really poor performance
This was my first cult beauty order and after reading the reviews I thought I give a try to this product. Even it smells nice , I’m disappointed as the performance is really bad - literally after a couple of minutes the scent ‘s gone. Won’t buy again and I don’t recommend this at all.

Expensive
I was expecting this to be a more fresh and fruity scent based on reviews and the bottle saying it smells like black plum, but it is very sweet and quite cloying. The bottle is also pretty small for the price and I have a bottle of So? Vanilla Body Mist (purple bottle with gold cap) which smells just like this and was only £3. A nice scent but definitely not worth £18.

Disappointed
I was convinced to try this based on the other reviews, but I wish I had trusted my own instincts and got something else because I found this awful and I regret buying it. I love the original yellow sol de Janeiro scent and the green cabana one, but this is totally different. It’s sweet, there are fruity notes to it but also a definite musk/woody tone too. I found the scent too overpowering and it made me sneeze really badly. I couldn’t wait to wash it off as I was getting a headache too. It’s more along the lines of a ‘perfume’ type fragrance as it dries down, maybe if you like YSL Opium or similar, you would like this. This one is nothing like the other Sol de Janeiro scents so if you like foodie/tropical/coconut type smells, this isn’t one that isn’t for you. Wish I could get my money back :(

The perfect Summer scent!
I had to get this one after seeing all the hype around it! And I don’t regret it. I normally don’t enjoy sweet scents but there’s something special about this one. It’s sweet and mysterious at the same time. I get tons of compliments every time I use it. And I just wish I had longer Summers to wear it more often.
