Gently apply using your fingers or a cotton pad over entire face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids) after cleansing and toning. Do not rinse. Start slowly: Apply every other day and note skin's response. Then use up to twice daily. For daytime, always finish with a sunscreen rated SPF 30 or above. For nighttime, follow with the rest of your routine.

Close enough to a holy grail
I only use the exfoliant every other day because I have really sensitive skin so I don’t want to over do it. But, it feels so nice on the skin and it gives it a lovely shine making your skin look refreshed, healthy and glowing. I haven’t used it long enough to say whether it has had a huge effect on reducing my acne and redness however, I think I’m definitely on my way! Also, my skin reacts with everything and it didn’t react with this which is why I called it a holy grail! Thank you Paula’s choice!

I never leave reviews but this deserves a review. I have rosacea and a few other skin problems which I’ve only just managed to control again so im very careful what I put on my face so this was a risk but I used it after cleansing my face in the evening, had a slight tingle for a min then absolutely fine. My face felt as smooth as anything! My serums & went on lovely and I use now in the morning too (not every day yet). It’s going to stay part of my regime I love it. Really glad I decided to buy it. I tried it on my cheek first and waited 10 mins to see if there was any reaction then carried on as there wasn’t.

AMAZING for early signs aging / dry / dehydrated skin and also acne / clogged pores! IT IS MAGICAL!
So I have my skin routine pretty much perfected and really have noticed a huge difference since I began to introduce care of the old face to my life......... I am slow to the game! I have been using the Peter Thomas Roth glycolic cleanser and then the P50 Biologique Recherche Toner............ then a serum and finish with the Peter Thomas Roth glycolic moisturiser............... my main skin concern is signs of ageing (I am 39 years old).......... and this combo was almost perfection for me, but I felt I was missing something. I decided to try the PAULA'S CHOICE Salicylic Acid Exfoliater, as I wanted to add a BHA to my routine - and specifically salicylic acid........ I have never had acne, but I do tend to have fairly large pores (even on the dry areas of my skin)...... and I wanted something that is a gentle chemical exfoiater to keep those pores clean / reduce the redness and swelling I have at times............. My concern with my current routing and adding more was that I did not want to dehydrate or overly treat my skin and have further problems. The BEAUTY of this - it seems to be within some form of base (almost like a hemi-squalane feel).............. and that allows it to feel so beautiful on the skin! this is now my awesome stage 3 before my serum and moisturiser / SPF. I also have found - using this allows me to wear far more types of foundation that in the past dried me out! IT IS INCREDIBLE! I totally recommend. HOWEVER - if you have an allergy to aspirin / sensitivity to aspirin I would avoid this - as it is salicylic acid that is the active ingredient! GREAT PRICE - TOTALLY WOULD RECOMMEND! ........especially if you are dry / dehydrated / signs of aging xoxo

Love this product. It’s really made a difference to my skin. I use most nights, it’s not particularly tasty if you get it on your lios or as my partner says when he kisses me! It’s worth it though.
