Formulated with rice protein and coconut water rather than salt, this ultra-fine mist is the secret to loose, beachy waves without stiffness or crunch. Enriched with OUAI's signature Smart Technology, a cocktail of amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine, this spray tames as it tousles for beautiful bounce. As if that wasn't enough, an infusion of the beloved North Bondi fragrance means that zesty notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and rose de mai will follow you long after your final spritz.

Leaves my hair dry
I've been using the OUAI Wave Spray Luxe 50ml for a few weeks now, and while it does create defined waves, it unfortunately makes my hair feel quite rough. The texture is not as smooth as I'd hoped, leaving my hair feeling somewhat dry and brittle. The product does deliver on its promise of enhancing waves, but the trade-off in texture is a downside for me. If you have dry or fine hair, you might want to consider this before purchasing.

Good for holiday
I took this on holiday and it gave my hair a nice wave. It gives some texture to the hair without being too dry or sticky feeling. However my hair did look quite frizzy at times and I had to use an oil to calm it down

Holiday must-have
If I'm going somewhere hot on holiday I always take a bottle of Ouai wave spray, it's perfect for days where you want minimal styling and no heat damage. It has a lovely scent and creates beachy waves that aren't crunchy.

I really like this - smells nice and creates nice texture in my wavy hair! Sometimes can be a bit crunchy but that is often the case with these sprays! This smaller size is perfect to keep in a toilet bag and lasts a really long time.
