Formulated with rice protein and coconut water rather than salt, this ultra-fine mist is the secret to loose, beachy waves without stiffness or crunch. Enriched with OUAI's signature Smart Technology, a cocktail of amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine, this spray tames as it tousles for beautiful bounce. As if that wasn't enough, an infusion of the beloved North Bondi fragrance means that zesty notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and rose de mai will follow you long after your final spritz.

Great for retaining curls
My 6yr old has tight curly hair, this is the end product of her routine which will ensure the defined curls stays in place, it does have a firm texture to the curl but depending on what you are looking for this will either be great or not quite what you may have thought, definite repurchase for LO though as it works lovely on her hair type

Better than any salt spray out there
I use this spray after getting out of the shower and it does its miracle with making my hair wavy and gives it a nice healthy glow. No stickiness and smells amazing! I even stopped using my hair curling iron- love this product and highly recommend it.

A bit crispy
This smells absolutely wonderful BUT it left my hair feeling a bit crispy (I left it to air-dry) and sticky. I didn't notice that it was heavier than usual either.

My hair savior!!!
I have very unruly hair. It’s not thick but my permed ends are dry and brittle no matter what product I use and I use a lot of leave-in conditioner, hair masques and serums. Before I go out, I’d spritz generally on the ends and tame flyaways on the crown and it keeps my hair nice and wavy along the length while smoothing out the flyaways. It’s a godsend if you are always rushing out and you want waves/ curls in your hair!

Wanted to love this, but it didn't work
The smell and texture of the product are gorgeous. It's a lightweight mist, has almost perfume like smell, not sticky or heavy. However, it just did nothing to my hair. I live in a hot country, and when I leave my hair to dry naturally, I usually get noticeable waves (I would describe my hair as naturally straight though). I was hoping that this spray would bring them out more and define them a little. Unfortunately, it seems to make it even straighter! Even when I twist the hair in sections. Probably great for someone with naturally wavy hair.

Not great
Leaves bleached hair feeling dry. The spray doesn't disperse the product as a mist, more of a squirt, leaving patches of crusty product throughout my hair.

Disappointing
Smells lovely but doesn’t really create the beach look. I have wavy hair naturally and this doesn’t really enhance it. It’s very sticky and just creates a birds nest vibe. I’m glad I only got the small bottle as it was pricey. I wouldn’t buy this again. I’ll try to use it as a setting spray for curls.
