Ouai Hair Oil
I love this hair oil, my ends now feel hydrated and healthy after feeling dry and damaged for months. it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all and it smells really nice as well. for reference, I use 3-4 pumps after every wash in my collarbone-length hair. will definitely be buying the bigger bottle after this travel one runs out!

I want to love it but…
This is a nice oil, you only need a tiny amount and it’s not sticky on your hands or hair. I actually like the smell, it’s like lilacs or jasmine but it is quite overwhelming at first. Luckily the smell doesn’t last 5 mins and it’s totally gone. I want to live this but it’s just not WOW. It’s pretty bang average at a premium price point, solely for the name (which is why I brought it myself!)

Brilliant for when you want to scrunch out the crunch and those fly away as. the smell is lovely. Travel size is enough but double cleanse your hair with shampoo when you use a lot of oil.

Ouai has never steered me wrong
As an avid user of the Moroccanoil treatment, I was not expecting to like this product as much as I did! Whilst I still prefer the Moroccanoil treatment for damage, the Ouai hair oil also made my hair feel silky and the smell, like everything Ouai, had me smelling my own hair for a few hours after application (not a *huge* lasting smell on my thick straight hair however). I am definitely looking into purchasing a full-size of the product at some point but it is unlikely to replace the treatment I've used for over 5 years, which is a bit better in terms of price per use/result. That being said, Ouai has a huge plus over other hair oils I've tried for making my hair feel smooth yet not weighed down and not at all straw-y.

Left my hair smooth and shiny. But I don't think it's got a wow factor...at least not on my hair anyway. It's a good product though and definitely worth a try! I have bleached my hair and need a lot if hydration. So my search continues!
