If shampoo was a car wash service (bear with us here), this would be the equivalent of a full valet. A once-a-week treatment, its gentle formula boasts apple cider vinegar to help cut through product build-up and neutralise shine-compromising hard water deposits while hydrolysed keratin works to support brittle or heat-weakened tresses. Expect to be left with locks that feels soft, silky and ready for action. Plus, it's infused with the brand's signature Melrose Place fragrance, a harmony of rose, lychee, bergamot, cedarwood and white musk... it's the perfect final flourish.

Thoroughly wet your hair from root to tip with lukewarm water. Squeeze out any excess moisture and lather a coin-sized dollop of Detox Shampoo in your palms. Use your fingers to part the hair and apply the product as close to the scalp as possible. Let it work its magic for one to three minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

"Cleanliness is Next to Godliness"
Well my hair felt like heaven to touch after one wash. Before I found the holy grail of clarifying shampoos my hair suffered from hellish hard water - itchy and flakey. This shampoo should be used at least once a week, especially with hard water areas. It really is like someone answered my prayers. Sorry for the over used religious puns but I am truly amazed by this product as I have tried and tested a few, and this is a godsend!

Amazing
This was recommended by Cult Beauty's team to me and I have to say, they know their stuff. I use Olaplex and this compliments it very well. I use it once a week to cleanse and 'reset' my hair and scalp.

Ouai is THE ONE
This shampoo is amazing and smells lovely to boot! My hair was in a real mess after I decided to bleach my hair at home and after trying many other hair products (Olaplex no.3 included) I turned to Ouai. It’s taken awhile but with time this has made my hair feel lovely and silky, I can wear it down and it doesn’t feel like a straw mop any longer. I would absolutely recommend this shampoo to anyone who needs their hair rejuvenating or just wants to give their hair some love.

I highly suggest using this (if you have extremely oily hair and use dry shampoo every day) as a first shampoo every two/three days. It works perfectly for me, and stops my hair feeling gunky! It isn’t stripping, but might not give the best results for dryer scalps. But for my oily haired people, it’s perfect!!

Love it!
The water where I live is very hard and I have scalp psoriasis and get dandruff occasionally as well, so I tend to have to use TGel or similar. I have started using this once a week and it’s great - really deep cleansing and gets rid of any build up on my scalp. Will repurchase.

Deep cleanse
This really is an intense cleansing shampoo! I have thin hair strands but a lot of them, so this is a perfect match for me to use at max once a week, i tried using it two showers in a row and my hair was a bit stripped of moisture so do not recommend using it too often be careful! But its still amazing when used correct :)

Not doing it for me
I live in a very hard water area and hoped that this shampoo would remove mineral build up from my hair, but not. It just leaves my hair tangled and frizzy. Didn't like the smell either

The most divine smelling, squeaky clean shampoo ever!
This shampoo, along with the medium hair conditioner has been my most successful hair purchase yet. Firstly, it leaves my hair feeling so clean yet doesn't feel like it strips my hair of all its moisture like many 'detoxifying' shampoos can. Secondly, I have never enjoyed the scent of a product so much. The smell is so gorgeous - not overpowering - but enough that when I walk past the office door my partner will exclaim how fresh and lovely my hair smells as it glided over to his desk. The lather is so pleasing and really allows you to feel where you're massaging the product into. I shall definitely be purchasing the larger 900ml pack to refill my bottles. A new staple in my hair care routine.

Fresh feeling
