Crafted with a blend of polymers and mineral powder, this formula establishes a firm grip on pigment, ensuring hours of wear and maximising the colour intensity of your eyeshadow or eyeliner. And skin care ingredients are involved too, with deep sea extract and antioxidant-rich rice extract smoothing your lids, prepping them for eye make up and helping to keep your eyeshadow from travelling around the eye area. I have used this a number of times now and have found it quite hit and miss. On warmer days my eyeshadow still slides off. On cooler days it’s ok for around 4 hours. I get oily lids and slightly sweaty skin, and so I struggle to achieve a beautiful long-lasting eyeshadow look. Urban decay potion also only worked like this for me, so I accept it may be an issue that I have with technique or physiology.

I don't often write reviews but this product I had to do one one, it's fantastic! All You need is a little day on each eyelid smooth then add eyeshadow. Your eyeshadow will stay put all day, with no creasing or smudging. It really is fab.

Don’t actually think it’s that amazing
I went for this because of the good reviews but if I’m honest there better out there. It doesn’t do a bad job it does keep eyeshadow on relatively ok. However, it’s a similar formula to the Urban Decay primer which means you can’t really use it with concealer. It doesn’t particularly make your eyeshadow pop in comparison to others and I feel like it runs out pretty quickly. It’d be nice if this product was in a squeeze tube like the urban decay ones to be able to get all the product out.

The Best!
For someone with extremely (!) oily eyelids like me, this is the only product that really works. I have tried numerous other eyeshadow bases, both creamy and liquid, but after a few hours I always ended up with creased eyelids. This NARS one really keeps your eyeshadow (liquid, cream, matte, glitter,...) in place!

So glad I found this!
The last two years I've noticed my eyeshadow creasing on my lids and just thought there was nothing I could do about it. I stumbled across this and didn't have high hopes but this really does work! I wish I'd found it earlier! Now I don't like to apply eyeshadow without it because it makes a significant difference.

Really works!
I really struggle with creasing eyeshadows on my eyelids and this is the first product I've tried that actually seems to have made a difference. Still need to try it with a few different eyeshadows but today my eyeshadow lasted a full day without any creasing and that's unheard of. It goes on smoothly and doesn't clump at all. Gives a really nice matte even base to eyeshadow.
