Best primer

This is the best primer I ever had. I have very dry skin and this keeps the makeup on me forever.

Best

This is honestly the best primer for my skin! I have oily skin, and I have tried multiple mattifying primer to try and control the shine. But my makeup always end up piling. I do get shine with this, but it’s honestly not much and totally understandable. I cried once, and my makeup stayed like a bitch you couldn’t get rid of, it’s the best.

It's ok, but it's not what I was expecting with all the rave reviews I've seen.

First few times I used it, with various foundations - I thought it was terrible. I then worked out how to apply it. It needs to be applied thinly and really work to buff it in, in small areas at a time as it sets so quickly - then let it sit for a while. If not buffed in - it just sits on top of texture and pores and foundation settles badly. And if applied too thickly or not in small areas at a time - it also has a tendency to peel when applying foundation or when trying to spread it once it's set a bit. If applied correctly, it doesn't have these negative effects. But I still get better results texture and pores wise from my usual poreless putty primer which is a lot cheaper. Plus I already use a radiant foundation too, so I don't need a super hydrating primer. I doubt I'll repurchase, but I will be trying it again in the future when I get a thicker consistency foundation as I have a feeling this might fare better then.

Mixed thoughts

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I liked it at first it kept my makeup on all day and kept me matte I thought it would be my new favourite but as I kept using it, it started to pill up under my foundation/concealer and started to break apart my makeup as soon as I had put it on! I used the same base products and applied it the same with my fingers? I wanted to love this but it just doesn’t love me.

Fantastic

A really good primer, melts into my skin nicely but is still tacky. As others have said don’t put it on areas where you have big pores as it does seem to enhance these. Do like the fact I can mix a bit of dewy skin gel into it and it looks amazing. Grips onto anything put on top without pealing, creating texture, or looking cakey

Good

Really Good primer if you want your make up to last. Make sure it’s evenly spread and if you have an oily nose like I do then don’t put on your nose because it makes the pores stand out a lot. Will be buying again :)

Decent Primer

I wanted to see if this works. I have an oily T zone and my makeup is off my face by lunchtime when at work with air con and heat. I would say it holds makeup really well, my foundation goes on well (Estee Lauder double wear) but I do find my pores are a little noticeable on my nose. I think less is more and one pump is more than enough. I prefer Smashbox Oil Control primer but wouldn't give this Milk one up. On a weekend if I'm not doing much I find it works better, gives a lovely dewy finish but I sadly need a little more. I'm still going to use it and just blot it in the afternoon when needed.

Smooth & Sticky

Sticky in a good way! Makeup didn't budge when using this and it smoothes out the look of pores.

Great

I am now having a great result with this product. I only use it where its needed i.e my t-zone . Also the smallest amount makes all the difference to your foundation application.
