Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Bought the smaller size to try and I really like it. Nice and sticky without feeling uncomfortable on the skin. Made my make up sit better and last longer even in the heat. The small size is lasting longer than I expected too but I will definitely repurchase in the bigger size when I run out.

I'd been using the Pore Eclipse primer but felt it was a bit too drying so gave this a try instead but unfortunately too far the other way for me, made everything a bit slip slidey and had a bit of a funky smell too! Not for combo/oily-combo skin. | Went back to the drawing board with a better moisturiser for winter under the pore eclipse and all dryness sorted.

It just doesn't work for me...
I don't know why I'm struggling with this primer so much. I've tested it underneath every foundation I own, full beat or very natural and it seems to make my foundation look terrible! I have dry skin, not a lot of texture and my pores aren't a problem for me - I want something long-lasting that'll keep my makeup on for as long as possible! It goes on lovely, a little does go a long way and the tackiness is precisely as it looks in all those reviews. My issue is that it manages to emphasise texture I didn't even know I had, my makeup practically slides off my face and no matter what tool I use (brush, fingers, makeup sponge - including those cheap triangle sponges) it either becomes patchy or pills aggressively. I've even changed my skin prep just to give it a fair shot. It seems that I'm the only one dealing with this issue, as it works for everyone else! What a shame - in that case, I'm glad I bought the 'test' size.
