Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Tried this primer 3 times now, varying the amount used each time however every single time my foundation pills on top. Don’t recommend, especially considering the price.

Great primer
My daughter 30 year old daughter recommended this primer. I hadn’t heard of the Milk brand before. A tiny amount is all that’s required. It applies really easily over the skin and is absorbed immediately without the skin feeling heavy or sticky. It makes a perfect base for my foundation and cream blusher. My makeup stays in place all day too. I was sceptical at first if this product would work on my mature skin but I am pleased with the result and would purchase again. Another prompt delivery from Cult Beauty. One of the strengths of Cult Beauty is the wide range of brands they stock.

Works great, but some trial and error is required
Love the gripping power of this primer while it also provides a glass skin like effect. However, it took me a few tries to figure out exactly how much to apply, and how to layer. Does not play well with certain moisturisers under it or some foundations over it as the products will start to pill and come off. Works best if you use a blending sponge to apply the foundation on top with stamping motions as opposed to dragging.
