Classic scent
Fresh apple and rose, with patchouli base. To me this smells like a classic. However, I wished that the top notes would smell longer. The patchouli note comes up quickly on me. I didn't like the smell when I sprayed it the first time, but after a few days I was addicted. I would recommend this scent for 30+ ladies who enjoy strong but fresh scents and want to feel confident and feminine.

It’s not for everyone!
After reading the description and many reviews I thought this fragrance would be perfect for me! But it isn’t... it’s an extremely overpowering scent and much too harsh for my liking, smells like a strong soap more than a seductive perfume. Definitely advise people to avoid purchasing this size bottle if they haven’t already sampled the perfume!

This paired with Citrus, gives you Arabian Nights vibes. It's all I can think of, being a princess in the mysterious Middle East. Unlike anything else that I have. Kayali have high quality ingredients in them. I have a drawer full of French perfumes. I'm petrified of getting headaches with newer perfumes, but this scent does not do that at all. I'm very comfortable with it. Elixir 11 could be worn on it's own but, these Kayali fragrances are designed to be layered. This is supposed to be the base perfume. Check out their website for layering hints before selecting your first perfume. I bought Citrus, then Elixir 11. I enjoy them so much, I want to go back for Musk. Maybe later, Vanilla. I really never thought I would ever buy a make-up brand scent but, this really is a lovely perfume.

I waited a lot before deciding to get this perfume... and I should have waited more because I don't like it at all! :-( I purchased it in Musk in November and I was quite delighted by the smell. This time Kayali elixir, instead, deceived me a lot. You can strongly smell the red apple but you end up smelling like one of those cheap deodorants they sell at the supermarket. I tried layering it with Kayali Musk but I can't see a big difference. I just wish I saved my money :-(
