Drying formula
Here’s my main issue with this concealer - I am yet to find a foundation formula that it works well with. On its own, on clean primed skin, it applies beautifully and gives you a smooth bright undereye. It dries down so matte that I would go as far as to say there’s no need to powder it, even if you are working a long day. The downside is that as soon as I try to apply as part of a full face of makeup with foundation, it rolls and builds up and looks patchy and cakey regardless of whether that is on the undereye or over blemishes. It just does not work well with creams…or liquids…or powders. I can’t find any other product it works with, including hudas own foundation that it’s named after! Thus, unfortunately, this is a 3 at best. I’ve got too many concealers that work beautifully with other products to ever really use this one. Bit of a disappointment overall but worth considering on a no makeup- makeup day solely for the staying power.

I love this concealer, so glad they reformulated from the previous concealer as I found it really heavy and drying! Although it’s a matter concealer it’s not drying it’s more of a satin finish. Perfect for under the eyes gives a flawless finish! I love the applicator too applies the right amount of product!

This is an incredible concealer and very easy to apply and blend to brighten dark circles or conceal imperfections. A little goes a very long way so best used sparingly. It sets very nicely with no creasing and with a little powder lasts all day.

This concealer is just amazing to work with. It blends so beautifully and doesn’t crease as bad as other concealers I have used in the past. I set it with Huda’s easy bake loose powder and it’s just an amazing finish, especially around my under eyes. I also use a small amount as a base for my eyeshadow and it works wonders for eye makeup too! This is a lot better than her old overachiever concealer!

When I first bought this concealer I was so excited to try it and don’t get me wrong it is a good concealer but I think that’s all it is a good concealer. I’ve tried far better but I don’t think it’s the worst I’ve ever used. Will continue to use until I run out as it’s not drying under the eyes and it doesn’t make me look terrible but don’t think I would re-purchase as there are concealers I much prefer
