New fav concealer!

Blends nicely and doesn’t crease or look dry. Only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long as I’d like.

Good spread out

Creamy but not thick like nars , easier to blend compare to the nars concealer I have.

This is medium to full coverage concealer and it lives up to the hype because it went viral

Full coverage

This is a very creamy and pigmented concealer. I have it in multiple shades now. I mainly use 1.8 as a brightening undereye concealer and 3.3. around my face (I think I'm about NC17-20 at the moment). With this being full coverage, it's a bit more tricky to work with than a light coverage formula. You need to apply it in a very thin layer and blend out really well including after a few minutes of applying. Whether it will crease or cake will hugely depend on what you have on underneath (skincare and/or makeup) and how you set it.

When I bought it the first time it really didn’t crease and was hydrating but I’m now on my second one and it creases a lot and dries out my under eyes… like I absolutely LOVE hourglass but what the helly ☹️

Despite good coverage, the product can be quite cakey.

I was so shocked when I first applied this concealer and saw how brightening it was. It’s incredible for brightening and lifting your under eyes. It also blends out very nicely and you only need to use a small amount so will last a very long time. When I first used this concealer under my eyes I used quite a lot and it turned out very caky, so I would recommend only using a small dot. I also used it on my face to see how well it covered up acne. It did a decent job initially, but after finishing my makeup I realised it had oxidised and left big orange patches on my face. It had also oxidised under my eyes and looked quite orange. I am quite fair and cool toned (I used the shade silk) so this looked more obvious on me than it might on people with a darker or warm skin tone. I now just use this concealer under my eyes and set with translucent powder straight after which does the job and stops it oxidising. I use a different concealer on my face/ spots as it’s not amazing at covering them and still ends up making me look a bit orange even if I set it. It can also look quite caky and heavy on the skin and emphasise texture. But overall I would definitely recommend this concealer for brightening the under eyes but it’s not a must have. I’m sure there are other concealers available that also brighten the under eye and work on the face nicely too. But it’s the most brightening I’ve ever used.
