For the price, you'd expect a better experience matching the description
As other reviewers said, it doesn't go on smoothly. The experience is pretty far from the product promise. Especially considering the price. It says it doesn't leave a residue? It does. Also "zero white cast"? Yes, it has a white cast, and it's sold as "sheer." Would not recommend for darker skin, though I'm pretty pale myself, and I wouldn't recommend it for pale people either. Not sure who it would suit. This product makes me wonder if this actually does what it says, or if there's a mistake in how I'm using it. If we're all putting it on wrong, they need to improve the instructions. I found Paula's Choice lightweight mineral sunscreen to be truly sheer and easy to use.

Don’t get it
First of all, I am a huge fan of Drunk Elephant, so when I saw that they came out with sunscreen I was super happy, because I hoped their sunscreen must be so nice and won’t break me out. But I was wrong. It was really bad for my skin. Consistency is disgusting - oily, grainy, leaves skin white and the smell is strong. Also after a month of use, the consistency of it became even worse. So I decided product went bad, which is crazy, I only had it for one month.

heavy and white
I was really looking forward to using this as I'm allergic to most sunscreens (really hard to find a good mineral one!). As it was described as "sheer" and "non-sticky" I thought it'd be great HOWEVER it doesn't dry down at all, stays quite oily and heavy feeling and does leave a white cast. I really did want to like this but it wasn't to be - if you prefer physical sunscreen I'd recommend Coola or Ren.

the worst SPF product I tried lately
I used to put some SPF product after my daily moisturizer and before make up. For the last few years I got or SkinMedica or Australian Gold SPF products which worked pretty well I decided to try this product because of huge hype around Drunk Elephant in social media. Frankly speaking, it has bad consistency, is not properly absorbed by skin and leaves strong white cast. Despite using mattifying primer above this SPF product my skin has strong greasy look all day long despite using my usual Dior backstage foundation and Too Faced loose powder. It may work only at the sea side when you re-apply the SPF cream after each bathing and do not care about your make-up.

Protects but won't be repurchasing
This product does its primary job - it protects the skin and I have never been sunburned while having it on. You don't have to put a lot to cover the whole face so it is not that expensive when you see how long it has lasted you. Having said that, the formula consistency is just bad. It seemed to be runny from the first time I opened the bottle, leaves you with a white color and what bugs me the most it peels. When this happened the first couple of times, I thought that it just doesn't go well with makeup as I used it under my foundation, but the same thing happened when I was on a vacation and makeup-free. Won't be repurchasing.

Bad consistency
It has a very gritty, liquidy, grainy consistency so the packaging is really not suitable for the product. The smell is strong and quite bad, leaves a white film on the skin and takes quite some time to absorb, but at least it protects your skin. I wouldn't recommend or repurchase it.

Protects well but has a few problems
The consistency of the product is very odd and very gritty/runny - doesn’t work so well in that tube with a screw on lid. The smell is for me quite off-putting and stays all day. However; the reason I give it three is because I find that once it has absorbed, it feels nice and it seems to protect my skin well. For the comments about piling, I only experience it when I have other products underneath, if I only use it alone it goes on nice and smooth. For me the smell is why I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

Where do I start?
Not only does a little go a long way but this has got to be one of the few SPF's I've tried that allows your skin to breath O_o The product is very lightweight and just all-round amazing! The products finish is also a winner for me as it doesn't leave that super shiny film that some SPF's have. #WinnerForMe #StockUp #Love Lastly being a physical SPF it protects from the sun as soon as it’s applied, no wait needed, less likely to block pores and is better for sensitive skin. Over and out.

Could work for dry skin!
Very oily for my acne-prone skin. Metallic smell and leaves a white cast. Avoid application close to the eye area! Definitely not a great choice for daily use. I only use it when I go to the beach.
