Combo skin - break outs

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Received this with the summer Goody Bag and was so excited to try it before splurging on it. I have combination skin and the minute I tried it my face broke out. I've never had that much acne since I was a teenager and I'm 31 now. Wanted to love it but I just can't. So combo/ oily skin people beware.

One of the Best

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Maybe the best moisturisers l have purchased. l mix my other DE products in my palette then after applying, l seal them off with this. It gives the most satin-like feel after a few seconds to the skin and it remains that way for hours. The only downside was the 2nd tub l bought when depressing the top only a tiny bit of product came out forcing me to open the jar! Not great as that is one of the main benefits to the cream however l definitely will repurchase. Not sure if the peptides can penetrate the skin though because l use it as a barrier cream.

Absolute favorite

I have heard so many great things about Drunk Elephant products, and this polypeptide cream was the first one I've tried from their brand. I have combination skin, and I wanted a cream that will hydrate my skin but not make the shiny areas even shinier. It has a light texture and leaves the skin soooo smooth. I'll definitely repurchase it! I use it at night only, after serum.

Nothing compares

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I hate to say this (because it's expensive) but... it's simply phenomenal. Perfect consistency and hydrates all day! At first it might leave some white traces of cream on your face when you apply it, but that goes away fast. Great under makeup, non greasy and makes my skin glow. The price sucks but even after having tried so many others, this is the only one that keeps my skin feeling great for over 12 hours.

not for oily/acne-prone skin

As with many other users that have reported on this product, it is not suitable for combi/oily skin. Broke out with cystic whiteheads two days after I started using this. Only for dry/ageing skin, I suspect.

AMAZING!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’ve gotten this twice as a sample and OMG... The first time I wasn’t sure if it really was this moisturiser that made my skin look this amazing but when I tried it the second time the exact same thing happened! I have combination skin that's dehydrated, a little bit oily, prone to acne and whenever I use this cream my skin looks and feels so much more amazing and balanced! Well definitely purchase the full-size. It is sooo amazing and a game changer for my skin.

Very light and hydrating

I use this as my daily moisturiser and love it. As I don't use any foundation, the finishing is even more important, and I must say the way it leaves my skin hydrated and smooth is perfect!

Lovely cream!

This is a lovely cream for my dry skin! During the summer I use it as a night cream, as during hot days it's too heavy. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and so soft. Definitely recommend.

This is a really nice moisturiser, super for summer. I have been using Charlotte Tilbury’s Light Wonder foundation over this during the week and my skin looks really firm, natural and glowing.
