Love it

I have suffered with patches of redness and dryness for a long time, this cream is amazing. Instantly smoothed over all the red areas but still looks very natural. I wear this most days, and haven’t reached for my foundation since discovering it. Will be reordering.

Decent

This covers my redness but I have to use foundation on top. I've noticed my face as become a bit spotty and itchy although I'm not sure if it's this product. I recommend though

I love it!

I don't like to wear foundation as it causes my skin to break out. I tried this as a base layer (and added some bronzer and blush on top) and I am absolutely in love! I have a naturally red complexion and this does an amazing job of calming it! I would highly recommend!

Amazing!!

Absolutely incredible. My boyfriend suffers from severe eczema and is very insecure about how red and inflamed his skin looks on his face and neck. I put some on him and he has so much more confidence! Also used it on my face and my skin looks much less red too.

Not for olive skins

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

This was a shame. Definitely not for olive skinned people. It makes you ashy, pasty and a bit like sudocreme rubbed all in. I think the product advertising is misleading in that Cult/Dr Jart should specify that this is for lighter skin tones. Otherwise a complete disappointment and waste of money It seems refunds are only for unopened products but if I knew this was colour sensitive I would never have taken the risk or considered it. On the other hand, Dr Jart Ceramidin cream is amazing and I'm glad it works for all skin tones.

Great, but I preferred it with SPF

I’m already at my second jar. This cream does a marvellous job at calming my redness. It evens out the skin tone well colour enough I don’t feel the need to wear a foundation on an everyday basis. However, the product I had previously contained SPF 30, which the current one doesn’t seem to have anymore. Not sure why they reformulated it, I liked not having to layer another product on.

It’s ok.

It’s alright. I think it all depends on your skin type. I will use this but it just isn’t my first choice.

Great - now I know how to use it :-)

I didn't get on well with this product. No matter how I applied it - with my brush, with my fingers, mixed in with moisturiser - it looked thick, cakey and sat obviously on my skin. Then I saw an IG video by Rose Gallagher showing how she uses it. She takes a pea-sized blob, warms it between her fingers then gently and patiently pats it on so it creates a veil. I tried it using that method where I'm most red - cheeks, chin and nose - and it works brilliantly. It just cancels out the redness and is undetectable on the skin. I can then follow it with just concealer or a tiny amount of foundation/tinted moisturiser.

Not for brown skin.

Didn’t work for my brown skin. The green colour does change from green to beige, but not according to your own actual skin colour.

Really like this product!

I love this product! I have very red cheeks and it covers them really well. It’s definitely not full coverage but looks natural and hides my redness well. I wear it without foundation, just concealer and I really like how it looks. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with pink/red undertones who want to cancel that out.
