As with all CeraVe superheroes, at the core of this cleanser is a cocktail of three essential ceramides (lipids that are essentially the ‘glue’ of your skin barrier). My favourite cleanser
Absolutely my favourite cleaner! Whilst this can be quite drying if not followed up with hydrating serums or creams after use, this cleanser is one the first products I used when getting into skincare and the one I can definitely attribute to lessening the recurrence of whiteheads on my face. Would recommend for combination to oily skin 100%, dry skin not so much, but if you do have dry skin, just make sure to get some follow-up products that put some hydration back into your skin.

This is a lovely cleanser, it’s got a great texture and lathers up nicely. I have oily skin and this works well for me. I do have other cleansers that I like a lot more then this but I will continue to use it. Don’t think I will buy again though. Don’t get me wrong, I think this is a good cleanser, it does what it says but I just find it a little boring.

Don’t think it’s working for me
So I bought this just to use on my arms to get rid of the bumps I have (recommended by some girl on TikTok), I purchased the cream with it and sadly it’s been almost 6 weeks and I don’t see any improvement. Admittedly I have been lazy with the cream (it has a very medicinal smell) so will continue to use the cleanser and try again with the cream and use them together. The cleanser definitely lasts a long time, I’m almost half way through the bottle and it’s been 6 months

Not for me
I wanted this to be my go to cleanser, but sadly it has ruined my skin. It has given me an acne flareup and leaves my skin feeling tight and dry. I regularly use acid to exfoliate my skin so don’t believe it to be a reaction to that. I’d recommend to be cautious using this cleanser if you have acne prone skin. I am going to now try the Paulas choice, clear cleanser.

Great affordable product
My dermatologist actually recommend this to me for cost saving as it is basically the same product as the higher end brand that a usually use. I mix this into my routine and it has the same effect, the higher end brand is more luxurious with texture and smell, but this is a fraction of the cost so I will continue to alternate and use both.
