Born and raised in Mexico,the brand’s eponymousfounder, Ere Perez, was surrounded by familywho incorporatedthe use of plants and herbs into their everyday lives. With a grandfather who worked asa medicinemanand a mother who created home beauty remediesusing natural ingredients like aloe vera and oats, Ere Perez was always curious about nature and its healing properties. In 1999 she moved from Mexico to Australia, afterreceiving herbachelor's degree in nutrition andwanted tocreateabeauty brand steeped in the heritage and knowledge she hadacquired.
