New Rituals For The Skintellectual
‘As with everything we do at Cult, we always start with a wishlist of tried-and-trusted products, innovation and newly launched skincare favourites,’ explains Cult Beauty Skincare Buyer, Hannah Grimes. ‘We then build out a routine of products which are tailored to our community and reflect what’s being searched for and shopped onsite — whether you’re new to your skincare journey or looking to discover something to enhance your existing routine. We’re so lucky to work with so many amazing brands; it makes our job a lot easier as there are so many incredible products and formulations to choose from.”
The Skin Buyer’s Highlights
“I’m so pleased that we were able to include Medik8’s newest Vitamin C — the C-Tetra Advanced. It’s fast become a staple in my routine; the radiance results are second to none. More newness that I’m delighted to have featured in this year’s calendar is BYOMA’s Phyto Mucin, expertly crafted in Korea using a bio-based ingredient to soothe redness and nourish the skin barrier. And finally, a tried-and-true favourite of mine is U Beauty’s Resurfacing Flash Peel — it’s so worth the investment and delivers a facial-worthy glow in as little as five minutes. It truly is a game-changer and I am so excited for more people to try.”
Hannah’s Top Application Tips
- Apply the Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask on clean skin. - Pop the Augustinus Bader Eye Patches in the fridge for approx. 2 hours before use. - Summer Fridays’ Jet Lag Hydrating Face Mist offers a moment of calm amongst the chaos of holiday season — skincare should be self-care after all!
Most-Loved For The Beauty Enthusiast
“We wanted to ensure we had the best of the best in this year’s calendar,” explains Cult Beauty Cosmetics Buyer, Lindsey Whiteford. “We looked to feature the most loved and celebrated cosmetics alongside some of the most-wanted and exciting new hero products in 2025.”
The Beauty Expert’s Take
“An icon and industry favourite for a reason — Hourglass’ Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara is transformative in delivering length, lift and definition for your lashes. We also have two new Cult exclusives which I’m so excited to feature in this year’s calendar — Patrick Ta’s Headlines Double-Take Cream + Powder Blush Duo in ‘She Knows Who She Is' and Saie’s SuperSuede Blusher in shade ‘Bella’. Patrick Ta's viral cream over blush duo comes in a rich mocha shade, warming up the skin creating a beautiful buttery finish, while the Saie blush delivers a diffused flush of pink to achieve a natural blurred finish. Application is so personal to each person. The beauty of cosmetics is to inspire and allow customers to 'create' with confidence, whatever their desired look!”
Scents For The Signature Seeker
“We know our customers love gourmand and floral scent profiles, so we looked to some of our favourite brands who champion these best,” says Abigail Routley, a Senior Buyer at Cult Beauty who specialises in fragrance.”
A Curation of Fragrance Favourites
“Kayali’s Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar is an iconic scent that has such a wide reach and appeal. With its Vanilla base, it layers well with both fruity and floral scents to create something truly personalised. Kilian’s Good Girl Gone Bad is a go-to if you love floral but want that edge of sweetness to your scent. It also layers so well with gourmand scents. Sol de Janeiro’s Cheriosa 59 is a slightly warmer gourmand, with woody sandalwood in the base. It’s a great scent if you want to have a bit more depth within your vanilla scent.
“My top tip for scent this season? Layer, Layer, Layer! Whether you want to mix your scents to create something unique to you or layer the same scent in different formats — mists, lotions, perfume — to create longer-lasting scents, layering is a must this year.”
Highlights For The Haircare Devotee
“We’ve taken a tailored approach with our hair selection this year to allow our customers to welcome new products into their existing routine,” notes Cult Beauty Haircare Buyer, Polly Yeung.
New Deeply Nourishing Favourites
“The Cult customer has been bias towards a good leave-in treatment, so we wanted to spotlight two heroes in our calendar this year — K18’s Molecular Repair Mask is a 4-minute no-rinse miracle that restores shine, bounce and strengthens hair like magic, while Color Wow’s Coconut-infused Dream Cocktail is ideal for layering on additional TLC, especially those manifesting more hydration and shine. Personally, I love to ensure my masks, leave-in conditioners, serums and oils all have an element of heat protection but also have added hydration and shine benefits. Another highlight is Philip Kingsley’s Scalp Barrier Serum — scalp care has solidified its way into our weekly Hair routine and this fast-absorbing formula is an all-round treatment for rebalancing, exfoliating and hydrating the scalp.”
