Not good for really dry skin
My usual moisturiser by Algenist has been out of stock for ages, and as I am such a fan of other Alpha H products (spf, cleansers) I decided to risk trying this one. Firstly.. the smell is awful? Surprised no other reviews have mentioned it, smells like gone off mint. But I would be able to put up with that for a good product. Unfortunately this just doesn’t hydrate and moisturise properly through the skin, it is very temporary and light. For the price point expected a lot more (I pay only slightly more for my usual moisturiser and the effects are 10x better)Â

I am so glad I bought this - it’s a really hydrating almost jelly like formula which feels like a big cooling drink for my skin - perfect for winter, makes my skin look like glass

sinks right in!
this is so moisturising for my dry skin especially as the weather is getting colder. this cream has more of a gel consistency, and it absorbs quickly into my skin without the heaviness and thickness of traditional thicker moisturisers.

Amazing refresh for dry skin
so good for my beach holiday - replenishes the moisture but has a great texture thats light and sinks in quickly. definitely saw a difference over night.

Super light texture and finish which felt great to apply and on the skin and provided the same level of hydration/protection needed you'd usually get through a much heavier/richer cream

So good for Winter
My skin gets very dry in Winter, so I've loved switching out my cream for this, to add extra hydration. It feels super lightweight and works well under my make up too!

So light and hydrating! Obsessed.
I am such a fan of this cream! It feels so light and almost cooling when you put it on. My favorite part is that it's not sticky at all and you feel hydrated instantly! It absorbs into your skin well and doesn't leave you feeling lathered. Definitely going to be a staple for me!
