These ingenious, pre-soaked (travel-friendly) facial pads are infused with a blend of four different hydroxyl acids, to gradually resurface skin and in turn, reduce the appearance of lines, scars, dark spots, dullness and enlarged pores. polyhydroxy acids – the next generation of hydroxy acids – are natural, safe and non-irritating. Derived from lactose, Zelens use lactobionic polyhydroxy acid to enhance exfoliation of the uppermost layer of skin and encourage the normalisation of its thickness, whilst binding atmospheric water to create a natural gel-film that grants hydration, plumpness and a velvety smoothness to the skin, and protect from the damage caused by environmental aggressors. alpha hydroxy acids have a deeper, dermal effect – boosting the production of collagen and thus increasing the strength, elasticity and thickness of deeper skin layers, and beta hydroxy acid (salicylic) works to minimise the visibility of wrinkles, whilst tackling blemishes by reducing inflammation and eliminating pore-clogging surface debris. Great for really sensitive skin!!

It's ok, but I do not love this product. I was expecting more from it, also... do not love the pads delivery system for this price and it's emulsifying and silicone-y. Will try something different next time.

Love them
Love them! I only use them once a day to save and it’s enough. My husband noticed a difference in my skin tone and he never notices! I buy them then stop and always come back to them! I have sensitive spot prone skin. Glycolic acid doesn’t work for me nor lactic.

Great for breakouts and Sensitivity.
I've tried so many different peel and acid products over the years and I was introduced to this back when I had hormonal acne for a gentle way to resurface and help clear my skin. I loved them then and really saw an improvement in the texture and tone of my blemish-prone skin. Fast forward to now and I decided to try these again, and I forgot how much I love them. They may not be the 'strongest' but I find them perfect for when I want a good, even exfoliation without any irritation on my skin. It's feeling particularly sensitive at the moment so I'm just using these a few nights a week to help dissolve dead skin cells and I really focus on congested areas with these too. I always use a hyaluronic acid after cleansing and exfoliating, as I find this really absorbs well and plumps my skin out, followed by a lovely nourishing oil, and by morning my skin looks like I've had a facial. I have combination skin, edging on the oilier side and I adore these, even when my skin is sensitive it responds well to these, but I wouldn't use on any compromised areas. Definitely one of my go-to acid treatments for more gentle exfoliation, and definitely a good purchase for anyone struggling with breakouts, I find it really helps calm stress and inflammation too :)

Give it time
My skin can be sensitive but also oily around the T-Zone. I have been using Pixi Glow Tonic for a while with instant results but after seeing some advice online decided to add another type of acid into my routine and this one was well recommended. I only use an acid in the evening, so once a day. At first I wasn’t convinced as my skin seemed slightly red after each use, however after persevering it has all turned around. My pores look smaller and I hardly have any blackheads, plus my skin has no visible ‘reaction’. I would definitely recommend persevering with these.

Good introduction to acids, although on the pricy end
These are very gentle but effective exfoliating pads. They don't irritate my skin at all and are a good alternative to a harsh glycolic acid. However, this isn't a particularly powerful product, has heavy plastic packaging, and there is no need for the pads when it could just be in a bottle to do a splash. Also I find that even though I'm cautious to close the container very fast and never leave it sitting open, by the time I get to the bottom of the stack, the pads are dried out. I think this is very poor value for an ok product.

They’re really, really good! You feel a difference in texture almost instantly. Plus they’re gentle and perfectly fine for sensitive skin. Plus NO glycolic! Glycolic is not going anywhere near my face so this is perfect!
