Unsure!
I'm unsure about this - I ordered the light version as I heard the original can be quite heavy, but this was still very rich on my skin. You only need the tiniest amount, as a little goes a long way!

Strong smell
This has a really strong herbal scent which I didn't love for my face, and despite it being the light formula it still felt very thick and heavy on my skin. Maybe meant more for people who have very dry skin but I was disappointed given how much everyone else loved it.

Skincare staple
I have dry skin and find this product provides exactly the right level of moisture for my face during the day. The feel is smooth, the fragrance is light and refreshing, and I've had no issues with breakouts or excess shine. I've also tried the original Weleda Skin Food, which is lovely, but I would say it works better as a balm or night cream during the winter.

Not much product
Have wanted to try Skin food for years but read the normal is quite thick so went for the light. Disappointed with how little product you get in the bottle. If you use lotion regularly it would be best to get the bigger size. Also found the cream to still be quite thick despite it being the lighter version. Also not for you if you don’t like scented lotion.

Just like le mer
I read a previous review comparing this to the vastly expensive Le Mer and they are so right. It’s just gorgeous, sinks into my skin, leaving a healthy glow and has a lovely refreshing smell. I’ll never look back and it can be used on the whole body so great for travel. Can’t wait to try more products from Weleda.

Pilling
This pills so badly on me sometimes - not sure why as I can’t seem to find any other reviews like this. It hasn’t happened to me with another product for ages though.

Brilliant multi-purpose, natural cream
I've used this as both a hand cream and a face moisturiser and I love it. I have oily skin so was a little worried about using this on my face, but it was brilliant - no break-outs, just a dewy, hydrated complexion. The smell is gorgeous and reminds me of herb gardens. I love it!

Do not use on oily skin!
I have combination/oily skin and I thought buying the light version would be a better option but within an hour of wearing it, my skin went so oily and greasy more than it ever has been before! It was horrible and I’ve woken up with spots this morning. Would be great for people with more dry skin but would not recommend for combination/oily skin types.
