Too heavy
I found this balm to be visibly heavy/cakey both when I applied it to dry skin and over the Vieve Skin Nova primer. I used a small, pea-sized amount for the whole face and found that the balm settled into pores and caught on hairs. You might be able to get away with using this on a night out, but I think it’s far too heavy for daytime wear.

heavier than a skin tint, lighter than a foundation
I love this! I'm a skin tint girly so not into heavy bases/foundations at the moment. I added more drops of a hyaluronic acid to this and it gave the the perfect coverage- still skin-like and glowy!

I have worn this product a few times now. It needs to be sort of melted on the back of your hand to obtain a smooth application. I live in a hot climate and I’m not sure how pliable it would be in a cold room. It gives a very natural dewy finish

Not sure i had high expectation but i know i love vieve so i gave it a go and boy was i impressed. Honestly you don’t need much at all - thick consistency but it spreads nicely and easily and most importantly don’t look heavy at all. Used this in a humid weather during my holiday and it lasts nicely throughout the day. Knocked a star for the scent- it smells weird to me but it doesn’t linger

I've been really struggling with breakout recently (and dry patches) so I wasn't sure of this was going to give me the coverage I wanted. But this is perfection (I'd expect nothing less from Vieve) it layers beautifully for non cakey coverage and it doesn't accentuate any dry patches. It looks radiant and healthy throughout the day. I find using it with the Vieve setting spray locks it in all day and if you're on the oilier side I'd say you need to powder. Perfect for when your skin feels a bit lacklustre during the colder months!
