I have a few Vieve products that I love but despite having my eye on this powder for a while the reviews around breakage always made me hesitant. I finally did it and so far happy with the product (have not travelled with it however). For day the day I apply with a brush, and for more lasting makeup days I apply with a puff as for me it makes it last longer (combination skin with oily t zone).

Formula needs work
I love this powder, it’s got such a great finish that works perfectly for my oily/combination skin. I do need to reapply (nothing unusual for me) and this is where the issues begin - this compact is completely unable to be carried anywhere. If it arrives in one piece, you are one of the lucky ones! My first powder arrived smashed to pieces, CB kindly sent me another that arrived in one piece (hooray!) which had its first outing in a bag tonight. It smashed all over my bag. This should have been released as a loose powder in more secure packaging - even with the compact remaining closed I have powder all over the inside of my bag. Very disappointed, this could be the best powder I’ve ever used but I likely won’t purchase again.

Holy Grail/Must Have
This powder is called a ‘Perfector’ for a reason! I have dry skin, but this doesn’t leave my face (or under eye area) looking caked or thirsty. It works really well with the Vieve concealer (which I love to use for a full base) and lasts surprisingly well throughout the day. The Tan powder compliments my Tan concealer brilliantly and I had to buy a back up because I never want to run out of this product! The packaging and the mirror are both really impressive too! Get your hands on this one guys! I promise, you won’t regret it.

I bought this powder in Tan. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’m used to using CT and pretty happy to pay the cost of it. But my goodness, this lasts better, the colour match is beautiful and I even bought a back up when I saw my shade on special offer! I swear, I don’t think I’ll be using another perfecting powder for a long time yet… I’m enjoying the Vieve brand so much, I can’t wait to have almost every product in my personal kit!!!

Really nice but so easy broken
My first powder arrived broken and although cult beauty replaced it it soon broke again. I think it’s very finely milled and not pressed well? Not sure but I just use as a loose powder now. However it is gorgeous

Beautiful design but unfortunately hated it
I usually use mac mineralize skinfinish (in medium plus) as my setting powder but loved the packaging/branding for this so thought I'd try it. Firstly the shade range is super limited but I went for a medium and found this to be much lighter than I am used to with other medium shades, it ended up giving a chalky look over liquid foundations. I also found it highlighted any fine lines that I have and was quite drying. I really wanted to like this so persisted with using it & ended up taking it on holiday with me in my hand luggage. When I unpacked my makeup bag it was covered in powder where the powder case had knocked about slightly and smashed powder all over my bag :( I think where the case is meant to be refillable it ends up making it quite flimsy and impracticable, super annoying!
