Finally something that works!
I have had adult acne since the age of 22 and I’m 38 now and still battle with it now. Congested skin that is red and gives me uneven skin tone and large pores. The number of lotions and potions I’ve tried to combat my skin problems are endless and nothing works. I have tried this product now for 2 weeks and I can see major positives results. Fewer breakouts, skin feels smoother with less congestion and much smaller pores. My skin doesn’t feel dry or like its being aggressively treated. You can apply makeup over it without having residue flake off. Just super happy with this product. I know troubled skin has many factors playing a role but this is definitely making a huge difference.

Face and Body acne
I’ve struggled with congested pores and acne which scars and after using this product and the lactic acid as well from The Ordinary every night my pores are clearer, skin is more even and scars are shrinking and fading as well as acne being reduced. Amazing product and would recommend to anyone.

First time buying this product after years of disheartenment using others , really works and can tell the difference within a week , minimises my large deep pores I’ve hated for years on my nose and was recommended to me by my dermatologist :-)

Don’t put too much on
When I first got this serum I saw my skin clearing up but all of the sudden I was breaking out again. Turns out if you put to much of blemish treatments on your face it can sometimes cause breakouts. I usually used about 7-10 drops but now I use 2-3 and my skin cleared up super quickly.

My chosen one.
If I'm feeling lazy, or running out of time in the morning this is the one product I never skip. Withhout it, I get oily very fast, and that always leads to a lots of spots. Which is a bad look! Other products work better in the long term for me, but Niacimide is what dictates my look for today or tomorrow. Couldn't live withhout it.

It causes irritation for me
I'm a big fan of the Ordinary brand and love some of their products. As I have oily skin and enlarged pores, and also because I've read and heard (youtube) so much of superlative-ness about Niacinamide, this was worth trying. Contrary to everything I learned that it is one of the most gentlest yet effective active ingredients, this serum causes irritation for me. Not sure if it's zinc or some other ingredient. Although I did use other zinc-containing products before, and they never game me troubles. I really wanted this to work, especially for my pores, but alas, it did not prove to be as good as other Ordinary products. for me, anyway.

Just perfect
The one product I will always order before I run out to make sure I have some to hand. The effect on reducing oil production and therefore blockages, bumps, and spots on the skin has made my skin so much healthier and makeup look better for longer. There's not much to say but that nothing beats this product for pure and effective niacinamide.

Made me break out!
I was so excited to try this product as I suffer badly with breakouts and textural irregularities. However, this made me breakout so badly - even in places i'd never broken out before! It also worsened my skin texture. All of this took ages to go away - my skin wasn't back to normal again for a month. I think this product is great for some people but I would recommend doing a patch test like The Ordinary says as not every product will work for all skin types.
