The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results, just like the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (240ml), a toner providing exquisite exfoliation to give your skin a boost of radiance and clarity.
Offering anything but ordinary benefits, the Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution (240ml) is a gentle and hardworking toner featuring glycolic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) to lightly exfoliate the skin and improve the look of its texture.
Working to remove dead skin cell build up and reveal glowier, healthier-looking skin, this trophy beauty buy leaves a dull complexion behind thanks to a slew of skin care ingredients... yep, in addition to glycolic acid. A Tasmanian pepperberry derivative reduces the look of redness, and ginseng root helps to brighten and protect against free radicals. Aloe vera provides the ideal balance by offering soothing benefits, making this glow-giving hitmaker an ideal way to gently refine your radiance.
Aqua (Water), Glycolic Acid, Rosa damascena flower water, Centaurea cyanus flower water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, Triethanolamine, Aminomethyl Propanol, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Aspartic Acid, Alanine, Glycine, Serine, Valine, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Glutamic Acid, Arginine, PCA, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Fructose, Glucose, Sucrose, Urea, Hexyl Nicotinate, Dextrin, Citric Acid, Polysorbate 20, Gellan Gum, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Chloride, Hexylene Glycol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.

Fresh, glowy skin in a bottle – absolute bathroom essential!
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is a cult classic for a reason. Its gentle yet effective exfoliation visibly refines texture, brightens dullness, and promotes a smoother, more radiant complexion without irritation. After just a few uses, my skin looked noticeably fresher and felt softer to the touch. Despite being acid-based, this toner is surprisingly well-tolerated—even for sensitive skin when introduced gradually. It layers beautifully under serums and moisturisers, and I’ve seen less congestion and more even tone within a couple of weeks of consistent use. Whether you’re wanting smoother skin, more glow, or a deeper clean of pores and dead skin cells, this affordable powerhouse delivers. It’s simple, skin-transforming and accessible—perfect for building your exfoliation routine step by step. Consider pairing with SPF during the day for best results.

Magic scalp exfoliate
I actually use this on my scalp to help with an itchy flakey scalp. I pop some on and leave it for 15 minutes before washing my hair. It really works wonders. Haven’t tried it as a facial toner.

Multi purpose toner!
Another star product from the Ordinary. Excellent price point and particularly as this lasts for ages. Want to tone your skin in the evening and slough off dead skin cells? Use this. Sweaty pits that your deodorant doesn’t seem to work on anymore? Use this for a skin reset! Dry skin on your feet from too many days in sandals and not enough self care time? This will sort it with a sweep over. I’m sure it has many more uses too! But it’s a staple in our bathroom cabinet!

Loooveee it!!!
I love this product! I use it all over my body, as a deodorant, an exfoliant, to remove rough skin, to reduce pigmentation spots, and to combat dandruff. This is my third bottle, and I will continue to buy it!

Great alternative to salicylic acid
Great alternative to salicylic acid if you have a sensitive or very dry skin. It doesn’t sting or irritate my very dry skin and doesn’t cause that super tight sensation after using a moisturiser on top (unlike salicylic acid). Very effective at cleansing and lightly exfoliating the skin. Helps to fight and clear blemishes quicker.

Consistency is key
I use this on my body for areas such as elbows, feet, underarms or anywhere with any rough patches or pigmentation I’m trying to get rid of and it works a treat you just need to be consistent.
