Lovely smell

I really love this oil, it does wonders to my dry skin. And I think it does not smell bad at all! I like the delicate scent of roses.

Good!

So moisturising and the bottle and the color of oil is so pretty. It is rich but personally I like rich texture. From other reviewers, I heard about the bad scent but for me it is ok and it fades away fast. Overall I like it!

From other reviewers, I knew it doesnt smell nice BUT it was different from my expectation, for me, the scent is ok and it fades away fast. It is so hydrating and it makes my face glow! The bottle and the color of the oil is pretty. It is kinda rich oil but blends well and personally I like rich texture. Over all I like it! I wonder what JUNO is like as well. Next time I will try JUNO as well.

This is brilliant for my arid dry skin, I use it morning and night and I've really seen a difference in moisture levels - I mist my face in the MV Organic Rose Spray first then add this and massage for a couple of minutes when my face is still damp. It has my skin blooming after only a couple of weeks and I don't need to use that much. (I was so used to layering loads of product on to try and get the same effect with creams). I love rose so this is perfect for me.

All three of the Sunday Riley oils are moisturising, but Isis is in a league of it’s own. I’ve had a couple of instances where I went a little too heavy with an AHA treatment, and I could see and feel my usual red, sensitive spots starting to flare up. Typically when this happens, I can expect to deal with a red, raw patch for the next few days, but Isis seemed to prevent this from happening. Isis is incredibly rich, and though it spreads just as smoothly and luxuriously as the other oils, it takes significantly longer to absorb. This oil is a moisturising superhero, so if you have dry skin of any kind, Isis is an absolute savior. This blend is definitely too rich for oily or combination skin types, but if your skin is dry, dehydrated, or damaged, Isis is the business. My only complaint about Isis concerns the anti-wrinkle claims, which seem a bit exaggerated. Though this blend does contain natural occurring retinol, I’m skeptical that it’s enough to see any significant, long-term fine line reduction. My own skin is fortunately wrinkle-free, so I wasn’t able to test those claims myself. Skinandtonics.com

Oh the smell...

I'm sure this is a lovely and effective oil, but I needed to warn people just how badly it smells. Rosehip oil always does smell, but the high dose in this mixture combined with the other ingredients results in a truly pungent smell that is very unpleasant to put on your face. Reminiscent of the worst type of cough medicine. And it doesn't go away, so I'd recommend putting it on just before bed.
