Plumped up skin
I have been using Good Genes for over five years. It's part of my daily beauty routine and I use it day and night. No other product hydrates or plumps up my skin like Good Genes does. I preferred the original formula which contained lactic acid, however the new formula still delivers.

Worth every penny
I almost never leave reviews but I feel like I have to on this product. I’ve suffered from pretty bad acne since my very early teens and I’m now in my 20s and it hasn’t let up, even with a very strict skincare routine — until I found this product. Within a week I noticed an incredible difference in my skin, a change that not even creams prescribed by a doctor could do for me. I literally use one pump on my face at night, before moisturising. It can tingle a bit, but it’s nothing incredibly uncomfortable. I know it’s an expensive product, incredibly so, but for someone like me who’s spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds over the past decade trying to find something that works and they all failed, I’d happily spend the money over and over again for this product. The one thing I must stress to people though is that it can make your skin sensitive to the sun, so please make sure to apply SPF while you’re using this product!

Great, fast results
Love this product. I tried a sample first and noticed an immediate effect - plumper and smoother looking skin after just 2 uses. I bought a bottle soon after and it’s made such a difference to my skin. When I first started using it, it stung a little, but that faded after 2 uses and I don’t feel anything at all now. My skin is looking smoother and brighter. It’s the best product I own and wouldn’t be without it.

Great product
Definitely helped even out my complexion and has reduced breakouts. Would totally recommend and just wanted to note that a little goes a long way - don’t try use too much of this. The only con is the price, as the bottle is quite small!

Gave me confidence
I bought a mini of this and luna and I'm over the moon. They have cleared my skin so much to the point where I have been leaving the house without skin makeup on, something I would NEVER do in the past. I have very dry, textured skin typically (no spots but quite an uneven colouring although not now with this) and this has improved it. My pores are less noticeable and my makeup goes on much more seamless and looks natural as my skin is so clear now. The price is quite crazy and I can't afford it really, so it is an investment but I would say worth it for the confidence I've gained, I will be purchasing a full size.

Makes my skin glowy and plumped
My skin (usually normal to slightly dry) tends to get super dry in winter. I had tried to use masks, hyaluronic acids and heavy moisturising creams, it helped only for a couple of hours - by the end of the day my skin felt dehydrated. Then about a year and a half ago I got a promo kit with Good Genes and Luna, and those two helped me a lot. First I introduced GG into my routine: I used it in the evening right after cleansing and toning, my skin immediately felt plumped and very soft, and it was radiant. In the morning my skin was still hydrated and glowy, and all the serums and creams absorbed better. Recently I've tried Glycolic Acid by DE - it's okay, but I find that Good Genes suits me better

Used on Combination skin.....
PROS: helped smooth my skin and fine lines, I saw a decrease in pimples and the look of pore size, gives a wonderful glow and the smell is decent. CONS: The price, and it's hard to empty completely the bottle without smashing it open. WOULD I BUY AGAIN? Yes definitely x

Significant improvement
I had regular facials (1x every 8-12 weeks or so) prior to lockdown and started using this regularly to deal with my sebaceous filaments on my nose - they have diminished significantly using this every day for about 4 weeks now in conjunction with a salicylic acid cleanser and light moisturiser. The only thing I would say is that it has given me a few dry patches across my chin but so worth it to see the difference in my skin. Baby soft elsewhere and feels so glowy! I would 100% recommend it.
