The hype is correct
These are wildly overhyped, and unfortunately for my wallet, are entirely worth it. I have several of these in both tinted and non-tinted flavours. Perhaps not the most moisturizing in terms of a clear balm, where I'd prefer to use a thicker and less expensive balm for utilitarian purposes. However, the combination of the sheer wash of colour, precision applicator, the genuinely moisturizing balm, and the not-too-strong scents make these my favourite tinted balms on the market.
