Scoop out product with the included spatula and warm between palms. Using fingertips, apply to dry skin gently massaging over face, neck, and décolleté until the balm has transformed into an oil. For eye-makeup removal, apply to closed eyes. Wet hands and continue massaging in circular motions until the oil emulsifies into a milky lather. Rinse with warm water or wipe off with a damp washcloth. Can be used alone or as the first step of your double cleanse, morning and night. (Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.)

Luxurious
I’ve tried so many cleansers but this is my all time favourite. It takes all your make up off including mascara, but feels like its moistures your skin at the same time. I never use cleansers around the eyes as I find them too drying but not this one. This has helped me cut down on products as I now don’t need a separate eye make up remover. I’m so happy with it.

Slightly underwhelmed
I’m a huge fan of RMS as a brand, their ethos, ingredients, and overall approach to skincare, so I decided to try their Coconut Cream Cleanser as an alternative to my usual go to, the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. When it arrived, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. Given the name Coconut Cream, I was expecting a beautiful, natural coconut fragrance, but surprisingly, it’s completely fragrance-free. I know that’s a plus for some people, but for me, part of the enjoyment of a cleanser is the scent and the texture etc.. and this just felt a little flat in that department. That said, the texture is actually really lovely. It melts down beautifully on contact with the skin, allowing you to really work it in for a deep cleanse and massage. It’s effective at breaking down makeup and SPF, and it rinses away with a cloth cleanly without any residue, which I liked. However, my biggest issue and sadly a dealbreaker is that it stings my eyes quite a lot. I wear mascara and SPF daily, and I need a cleanser that can handle that without irritating my eyes. Unfortunately, this one just doesn’t work for me in that way, and it makes the whole process a bit uncomfortable. Overall, while there are definitely positives in terms of texture and cleansing ability, the lack of fragrance and the eye stinging means it’s not one I’ll repurchase. I’ll be sticking with the Emma Hardie cleanser, which ticks all the boxes for me.
