REN CLEAN SKINCARE's No.1 cleansing balm is a luxurious, silky rose cleanser that is infused with roman chamomile oil, pink violet and rose oil to calm, sooth and purify the skin. Best emulsion but stings the eyes
I love this balm cleanser. It applies really nicely, has a gorgeous smell and is really easy to work into the skin. I've tried a few and what I find most impressive is the emulsion, it really does form a nice milk and it doesn't leave me feeling like I still have a 'film' like a lot of others I've tried. Its at a great price. Only downside is that it does sting my eyes a bit if I don't remove it properly or open them mid cleanse for any reason which I haven't experienced with other cleansers, but this is easily avoidable!

Amazing! I love it!
Despite being a huge user of Cult Beaty for several years and loving many products, I have never felt compelled to write a review before now. This cleanser is fabulous. I was looking for a balm that would remove my makeup, I have used many balms in the past but like to change it up now and again. This is everything I could want and more. The delicate rose scent is delicious and makes it feel special. It goes onto my skin beautifully and feels luxurious, then when I add water, the emulsion is amazing. It removes all traces of makeup, even heavy eye makeup but is still moisturising and leaves my skin so soft. The price is the cherry on the cake.

Simply love it
Easy to use and works perfectly. I apply a moderate amount of make-up - less on my face and more around the eyes. This product removes all make-up effortlessly.

Best make up cleanser
I love using this as my first step in a 2-step cleansing routine when I have been wearing makeup; it easily clears heavy eye makeup and feels very nourishing. I agree with other comments about the texture - it can be a little difficult to get out the bottle but would not stop me from repurchasing.

Beautiful product
This is a thick balm but very lovely to use. I do find that due to it's texture, it sometimes gets stuck in the bottle. That said the product inside is very good and REN in general a very reliable brand.

Rich balmy cleanser
This is a rich, luxurious feeling cleanser that melts away dirt and the day's damage without stripping my combination skin. It smells divine and melts into the skin as you massage it in. I use it as a first or second cleanser in the am and pm, depending on how my skin is feeling. REN recommends you then add water and transform it into a milk, but I skip this because I don't think it adds anything to the cleansing. I just use the hot cloth to wipe it off and follow with acid, tone, serum and moisturiser. What do I love? I love the price, that it is free from sulphates, parabens & synthetic fragrance and the way it feels on the skin. Will definitely repurchase.

glorious cleanser
I love my balm cleansers, and I was looking for a more affordable one because I was starting to feel guilty about using my de Mamiel every time I washed my face (fabulous as it is). The first time I used it, I found it quite hard to get out the tube, and when it finally did come out I got waaay too much and there was no way of getting it back in, so I washed my face, neck, and whole upper body (!!!) with it. It is beautiful. Left my skin spa-smooth, no complaints whatsoever, just be careful till you get used to the tube.

A little goes a long way
I have bought this for my sister she has quite normal skin and she enjoys it, I gave it a try once (I have more combo/oily skin) I took a generous amount and spread it on my face, and boy was it thick - there's a reason they include a washcloth! I think it works better for normal to dry skin type and especially good for the colder months. If you have oily skin, this would last a year!

I love this as my second step in my 2-step cleansing routine as it completely removes any dirt left around my eyes and my t-zone which if not removed properly can drastically leave my skin looking dull. it smells and feel lovely too.

Beautiful cleansing experience
I decided to try this REN cleansing balm having searched around for a reasonably priced cleanser. I'm so glad I went for it as it's such a wonderful experience to massage this glorious balm into my skin, then adding a tiny drop of water to turn it into a milk before rinsing it away. I use this as a second cleanse, never tried it as a first cleanse but I feel it may not be strong enough to remove makeup or SPF properly. I even quite enjoy the rose smell of this product whereas I usually find a rose fragrance to be headache inducing! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take time with their cleansing routine and turn it into a fabulous experience.
