Gently removing pore-clogging debris, impurities and excess oil, the refreshing gel cleanser lifts away daily build-up to leave your complexion feeling clean and purified. The key ingredient is BHA salicylic acid, which removes dead skin cells both on the skin’s surface and within the pore to reduce blemishes and blackheads. To ensure skin does not feel ‘stripped’ or dry after use, the clever formula also contains skin-replenishing glycerin and panthenol (vitamin B5) to ensure your visage remains hydrated and soft. The cleanser is available in both full (177ml) and travel (30ml) sizes – perfect for those on-the-go, or for trialling before investing in a full size.

Use morning and evening. Splash the face and eyes generously with water. Apply a small amount of cleanser to your face using vigorous yet gentle circular motions. Rinse well. Repeat or use with a clean washcloth to remove heavy makeup.

Not the best cleanser I’ve used
I found this cleanser to be ok, joyless to use but it did the job. However over time I found it to be quite stripping and I’ve actually suffered with my skin peeling as of late. Everyone’s skin is different though - maybe it’s just me. I don’t love the packaging. It’s really hard to squeeze out of the tube - I purchased the mini. I took it abroad for a weekend and it leaked in my clear liquids bag, despite the lid being on tightly. Probably wouldn’t repurchase the normal size based on my experiences.

I have combination to oily skin and loved this product! My skin loves the salicylic acid and I did not have a sense of dryness! This product literally “fixed “ my skin and will be my go- to cleanser for the summer!

Surprisingly good
I realised after buying this that it’s for oilier skin types so assumed it wouldn’t be much benefit to me as I don’t have oily skin. But found it made my skin feel really clean, especially with the foaming effect, and my skin never felt dry or stripped like so many other cleaners do for me.

Not the best
I bought this cleanser as I had high hopes for it. I love all the other Paula's choice products, however this cleanser is extremely stripping. I have oily skin and after using it for 2 weeks, my skin became extremely dry and flakey. It became irritated to the point I had to stop using any exfoliating products and focus on repairing my skin barrier. Didn't seem to help much with blemishes either.

Not Great
Bought after reading reviews. Have combination skin..oily t zone and dry everywhere else with it being colder weather. Used for a week however was breaking out across forehead, where I don't usually. Skin cleared up after a few days of stopping using this. Also quite drying to skin after use. Wouldn't really recommend for combination skin

Acne/blemish prone skin
Just purchased my second bottle. I have acne-prone/ blemished sensitive and dry skin. This cleanser has been amazing at minimising breakouts as well as keeping my skin hydrated. Skin does not feel dry at all and I have noticed fewer breakouts since starting to use the cleaner. Highly highly recommend it!!

Just OK, very drying
I bought a travel size of this to try for my oily, spot-prone skin. It's a completely fine cleanser, but I didn't really see any change in my skin and it left it feeling so dry and tight that even after a hydrating serum and moisturiser it still felt tight (which isn't something I like) so not very impressed. If you like that super tight feeling then great!

Miracle cure for acne!
This is by far the ONLY and BEST cleanser that works for my irritated, dry and sensitive acne prone skin. Other cleansers in the past have either left my already dry and sensitive skin more dry or irritated. This doesn't! It helps unclog pores and leave it properly deep cleansed without stripping skin of it's vital moisture. I will keep coming back to this definitely it's my holy grail product.

Amazing!
I have oily and acne prone skin and this makes my skin feel so smooth after using it. I don’t get as many spots and if I do, they clear up much quicker than they did without this cleanser.
